Very bad customer service, showed up at 4: 20 on a Friday to open an account … they refused to assist us with no explanation … offered to book us for Monday. I said no cannnot come Monday. David the teller replied ok bye!

My husband and I went there yesterday morning with an appointment to open up accounts and sign the final loan contract with them. Instead of doing the above which is obviously important for both parties, the banker start selling their landlord insurance, and after we told him we would like to figure that out at a later time, as it is not necessary for settlement. The guy keep pushing us to buy from ANZ and at the end by tricking us saying if we not buying today, it might affect the settlement. I was shocked hearing him say like that as it was never the case throughout my previous experience of purchasing properties. He just wont give up even if I have make it clear that I know it doesnt work that way, and I end up calling my broker to talk to him instead. The staff in this branch is unbelievably unprofessional and ridiculously undertrained. They think having a few hundred bucks commission from the insurance for themselves is more important than complete a property loan contract for the bank. DO NOT GO THIS BRANCH.

Unprofessional, poor service in this ANZ Branch. My card is about to expire in Nov and new card was ordered to this Branch. A bank staff who looks like an apprentice welcomed me. In the beginning he was nice. However, after reviewing the mortgage account that was linked on the portal, he started to sell me Insurance products. After rejection, he asked if I wanna buy another investment property and get more loans. It's nonsense. He was doing the hot selling rather than focus on activating the card. What made me angry is that the new card was rejected by Coles when I planned to test it later on. The other branch staff checked and advised me the activation was wrong and the guy made my NEW CARD into a LOST CARD.

$650 missing! 13 notes of $50 missing in the machine!

On 7/8/2022, I withdrawn $1,000 (20 notes of $50) from CBA ATM and went to ANZ Broadway ATM to deposit the same money $1000, into ANZ loan account for the monthly repayment. The ATM machine counted the money, however the transaction didn’t go through and it only returned me back $350. And the $650 (13 notes of $50) was missing. Then, reported to the call centre and told me to come back next day.

On 8/8/2022 morning, I went back to Broadway branch, they only found a $150 balance difference from the ATM. And need to do cash check the the next day. And I have to put extra money in, to avoid for the late repayment.

On 9/8/2022, ANZ Broadway said couldn’t find the $650 from the cash, and need to call the technician to check the machine and it may takes a few days!?

This is so much trouble, took us so much time, and very unfair to a customer, even this is the bank’s fault missing your money, but you can’t delay or miss your repayment.

Please avoid cash deposit! Avoid money missing!

I have been a loyal customer for over thirty years. Today that ends.
Eftpos card due to expire 31st July
Didn’t receive new card so went to ask if they sent
Evidently not, as they had to order a new card
This is a business account and all online access I use needs my Ccv
Which now I don’t have for 5to 7 business days.
Should just go on holiday for a week, oh I can’t I don’t a have a card.
Your inept and rude attitude over last few years in your broadway branch just lost another customer

Very unorganized, unprofessional, poor service and rude. I don’t recommend to go this branch. There were so many issues. We made a booking for make a joint account at 9: 30, that’s their beginning time and we were there around 9: 20 but they open 9: 35. We were on first of the queue but the lady staff start from end of the queue. Never heard start service from end of the queue. One of the staff asked about our needs and he told me “Michael just setting up the computer now, so please wait. ” That was already 9: 40. And then they told me there is a technical issue with Michael’s computer, so please wait. Again. And no apologies. I understand that technical problems can occur, but I think they should apologize for making us wait. I understand sometimes They start service to us at 9: 50 with different lady. She is probably newbie, she asked some questions to colleague and this colleague was bloody rude. Obviously he is upset. Visually can see he is upset about something. Should not show that attitude in front of customers. End up they just realized they can’t do much about it at branch, they just told us a number to call. We went to there for 30mins for NOTHING. They don’t even apologize for we’ve been waiting for long time. We were just wasted time. We decided to use a different bank because these things showed that ANZ was not trustworthy.

I would like to report your staff MICHEAL. When I went to ANZ Broadway branch on 07/12/2021 at around 3: 30pm, he served me. I know staffs are encouraged to chat with customers during the process, but the way he talked to me made me really uncomfortable. He started to show me his political views about China critically and sarcastically, including human rights issues and Covid issues, which may or may not exist, when he clearly knew me I was from China. I didn’t say anything and didn’t argue with MICHEAL, because I was there to get my bank statements, not to listen to someone about his political views. I respect everyone’s rights to have his / her own political opinions, but bank is really not a good place to talk about it, especially towards customers. I strongly disagree on what he said to me, and feel really upset and uncomfortable when I heard what he said to me. I ended up not getting the bank statement because of technical issues, but I’ll never get back to this branch again for the statement, because of MICHEAL’s unprofessional behaviours, I don’t wanna see him again.

Very poor customer service on both days - I went there yesterday and this morning. I was standing there for 10mins with no customer service or greeting me when someone finally approached me asking how can they help me. He didn't know what needed to be done and asked Mike (who was on the phone) so I had to wait even further. The employees there needs better training and more knowledge and have better customer service.

Multiple visits for the same issue, multiple commitments from them to give me a call to progress solving the issue / follow up with an update and not once have they come through so I've given up with them.

I’ve dealt with ANZ Broadway in the past and they were fantastic. Able to apply for a loan in one hour and walk out with the money.
Today however, after waiting for 10 mins (which isn’t bad) to be seen, I was approved within 1.5 hours after going through the application. And yet nearly 1.5 hours later, I’m still waiting.
Not very happy with this service.

Very poor Customer service. No attention to customers, specially the 2 indian ladies I don, t know the name but they just talk in Hindi. Don't know how to fix the problem and experimenting on my issue,
I went in the the afternoon just to unlock my account make me wait for 20 mins and the outcome is they need help from the senior. They are so stupid that they talking about me In Hindi think of I don't understand it. Spend my 30 mins for 2 mins job,

Very busy branch.
It’s very irritating to wait for an 30-40 minutes everytime

About staff is all good.
