The gym is always clean and there is always equipment available to workout on even during peak timings. The gym manager Leo is extremely warm and friendly which adds to the gym’s vibe.

As an overseas visitor I was impressed with the service I received right from the first email inquiry I sent. Being able to access a clean and state of the art gym while travelling is really important to me and Anytime fitness provided that. Leo - who is the club manager at Camperdown - was prompt in answering all my email inquiries and extremely helpful and friendly in person, right down to helping me navigate buses and find good coffee. The wifi was a little dodgy but that was a small issue. Thank you so much!

Awesome clean gym, great equipment and an awesome crowd. Management is always on point with addressing issues when something is a miss.

It's a small gym, but it always seems to be quiet enough that you can manage to nab the machines you want. Leo (Club manager) makes the gym the best. So friendly and suppoirtive

Great gym, I’ve been to a lot of Anytimes and this one is the best. Always clean and tidy - if you’re looking for a gym go see Leo at AF Camperdown - he’s always welcoming and friendly and when I need help with anything he’s always been happy to help me out

Great gym, good range of equipment for the size. It’s a very welcoming and a comfortable place to train. Leo the manager is fantastic with showing you how to use the equipment and always checking in on you and your training!

My beautiful local community gym ️ I know it is small branch but this branch has a special place in my heart because of its strategic location that helps healthcare workers + Syd. Uni and surrounding colleges folks to come here easily and relax, then get refreshed for a new working day Thanks anytime fitness for providing many different and convenient locations for your branches in Sydney ️

Can't recommend Anytime Fitness Camperdown enough. Leo has such integrity and listened to my situation and helped me find the best and most affordable fitness plan. He was really person-first rather than business-first.

Very nice gym! Great environment, and staff is super friendly!
Everything is well kept and clean, I really like it! It has basically everything you’ll need! And it’s super convenient being 24/7 since the nature of my job forces me to access it super late everyday.
It’s relatively close to where I live, and I don’t have access nor time to go to any farther away gyms, so it works well in my case:)
The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is that the gym doesn’t yet have a Seated Leg Abduction machine: (
I really wanted to benefit from this type of equipment instead of work-around ways that aren’t as effective
I really hope they add one as soon as possible, I think all members would really appreciate it!

The manager of AF Camperdown, Louisa is so lovely and greets me with a smile every time I come through the door. The club is always clean and fresh, such a great atmosphere to workout!

A decent gym. Small but has most key equipment including squat racks, deadlift capacity and dumbbells. Friendly staff.

So when i moved Marrickville ATF use to be my local gym and when i moved to Leichhardt the Camperdown ATF was my new local gym and had to unfortunately change again to Marrickville cause it seems like there is less abuse, intimidation and bullying from gym customers and less care from staff here then the marrickville ATF where the staff are better and alot more people are chill here.

I was attended by Louisa at the Camperdown AF location.

In all of my experience attending and exploring new gyms, I have always been very generously offered a free trial to fairly try the space out. I am a fitness coach with over 10 years of experience working in and out of gyms, and am very familiar with the value of offering free trials to potential clients.

I am aware that AF offers 7-day free trials, as clearly stated in the terms & conditions. I have been an AF client at various locations and have so far had the best experiences, until now.

I mentioned that I would be visiting for 3 days and then after travelling for some time, would like to come back to this AF location.

Not only was I not offered a free trial, I was being charged $50 for 3 days access to the gym (note: $5 more than the supposed daily rate of $15 x 3 days). After I mentioned this was pretty exorbitant, I was offered $30 instead.

After asking Louisa for the opportunity to take up on the 7-day free trial offer, I was completely shut down. I was told that this offer was only for "people who were considering to apply for a membership at the gym. "

As far as I was concerned, I was not exempt from this 'rule'.

I ended up working out 1 day, and forfeited the original other 2. I was charged $15 for the day.

In all of my years as a coach and gym client I have never experienced this level of exaction.

I have no other issues with the gym. Clean and well-kept.

I would like to return for the convenience of the location and hope not to be discriminated against here again. I wish and hope the same for anyone else.

Louisa does an excellent job maintaining my home gym. I have been a member here for almost two years. Weights are regularly put away, lots of wipes and sanitiser available, cleaning a busy gym, preserving etiquette so that everyone's comfortable working out and a perfect temperature with air conditioning (I find this critical)

There were some teething problems, but Covid was/is an issue. To Louisa's credit, she turned this around. I really appreciate her bubbly energy and enthusiasm. As well as the diversity initiatives, inclusive nature and not being Ageist. I enjoy training here.

Good gear, well maintained, clean, usual AF corporate ranting about how marvellous it all is, which, to be fair, is mostly true.

An AF membership, used correctly (every day is Training Day, lift to exhaustion, superset everything) is actually the closest thing to a fountain of youth that actually works.

The assembled dissemblers in the diet industry are a very long way back in the rankings compared to regular weight training.

Clean gym with suitable space and a good range of machines. Well managed and run by the AF Camperdown team. If you're in need of a trainer I suggest looking up Michael Cleary!

Awesome place to train! Thanks to Mikey for all the help with my training program. He has gone above and beyond to help me lose weight and look better! Would recommend him to anyone looking at having an awesome personal trainer!

Basic hygeine improvements possible. Hand sanitizer stations have been put away in the office (see photo - they're in the office). There isn't one by the door anymore. Today I could only find one fixed to the wall by the toilets. All yellow spray bottles have been removed. Cleanliness can be improved, also see photo of an actual kettle ball at Camperdown. As for the toilets.

Good gym, equipment is clean and well maintained.
