This gym is big and all the equipments are in good quality. Very good environment to be in. And I always love coming here to gym. Its so good.

I have been going to gym for a while and this gym is amazing. Plenty of space, clean equipments, various gym equipments which is enough for a good workout. Amazing staff members. Highly recommend

I've recently joined this gym after personal trauma and I can honestly say I could not have chosen a better venue to get my fitness back. Hera, John, Danni and James all have those invaluable qualities of enthusiasm, knowledge and sincererity. (As I'm sure do other staff I'm yet to meet). I firmly believe that post covid there's never been a more important time to work on one's health. Both mental and physical. And Anytime Fitness has been the perfect venue to achieve that. I've never had to wait to use the vast array of equipment and the shower facilities are always serviced. Just being at this gym lifts the mood up. Thank you Anytime Fitness.

Had such an amazing session with Isra. He instantly picked up on the level of my fitness and adjusted the workout to suit me whilst also pushing me to my limits. He is so inspirational and his posts are always motivating. He is easy to communicate with, reliable and always feel comfortable in
his company. Thanks Isra for such a great session today.

I’ve been coming to this gym for 3 months now by necessity and it’s by far the most poorly kept anytime fitness that I’ve utilised (out of dozens) - somehow over a three month period they’ve been unable to put soap in 2 of the 3 bathrooms, the weights are constantly in disarray, the bars are loose so that the weights spin and all around there’s a feeling of 0 care. For the love of god, just put some soap in your toilets. Is that too much to ask?

This gym is truly exceptional! The staff is friendly, the facility is top-notch, and they offer a variety of classes and training options. The community here is fantastic, and it's helped me achieve my fitness goals. Hera especially! Highly recommended!

Been training here for years, great gym and atmosphere. Management is very welcoming as are all the trainers. By far the best vibing gym in the area.

Recently renovated, large range of modern equipment. Can get overwhelmingly busy on weekday evenings. Class timetables aren't well publicised.

Try to cancel a membership, out of contract term, 3 months later theyre still charging me. Bunch of scammers. Avoid like the plague.

It was fine before the management change, of course it was dirty before the change but since then it's just gotten worse.

Half of the wipe dispensers were consistently empty for several days at a time, thick layer of dust around the gym, bathrooms filthy.

Tried signing my partner up to the gym and got questioned about my membership instead and how I have moved around a lot and him being unsure if I am a member at this gym.

Finally cancelled my membership recently after being fed up by the bad management practices such as failing to advise me there is 24hr processing period for membership freezes (only was told afterwards as I got charged as per normal), slapped with an extra $10 admin fee for a missed payment by a day rather than trying to advise of the failure and reprocessing and when cancelling the membership, attempting to tack on 3 extra days over the 30-day notice period which was later adjusted after complaining about it.

I was fine with most Anytime's even pre-management change but since then it's been a big let down.

I joined the club on 15th July however was not told the club was going to be closed for renovations in 3 days. Which is irresponsible.to make a customer pay where he knew there was not going to be access. The person who signed me up had made me pay for the initial weeks fee for the on the spot despite there apparently being a 31 day waiting period to access other locations? So I am essentially now paying with no access for any locations. Can you please advise what options are available?

Edit: Contacted by the manager and advised of access to another location owned by the same owner. Also agreed to refund first week fee where there was no access to the gym

It’s been second time they increased my the fees in last 4-5 months. Now it’s really way too much. Why someone pay nearly $100 monthly if you can get $60-70 alternative even some with including swinging pool.
Am pretty sure they loosing so many of their clients I am one of them. Like you can’t put pressure on people if you renovate.

Received an email from anytime fitness west ryde about my membership getting transferred wherein my rates were increased to which I responded about the correction. Never bothered to respond and ended up charging me more than they had mentioned in the email. There are other gyms with better facilities that dont charge as much as they do. Will be cancelling my membership with them asap.

I called in at 2: 13pm today and spoke to representative identifying himself as “Jack”. This person advised me that my cancellation cost would be $3,000 and it was because AF corporate hiked the prices due to covid. It was only until I was about to end the call did he slip in that “he was pulling my leg” and it wasn’t that much. To me this is really unprofessional to treat customers this way given I had acted respectful the entire call, this is why the there is a 1 star rating here. I recommend AF corporate look into this case (just pull up the call record or see who manned the phones at this time) and coach this staff member properly before he misleads other customers.

Anytime Fitness West Ryde is an amazing gym! Best gym I have ever trained at!

Love the people and staff, especially Alex who is always there to help me no matter how busy he is!

I wish every gym I trained at was like this!

Alex is the best manager of the gym. Always friendly and motivates the people that come to the gym. Makes you feel like you’re at home.
