Anytime Fitness

Visited late one night while stopping through Sydney and the Marsden Park Anytime Fitness is one of the most spacious ones I’ve been to worldwide. Very clean and new feeling as well. Heaps of equipment.

Random to note but the dumbbells go up in increments of 2kg instead of 2.5kg like most other AFs I’ve been to.

The gym always clean and smell fresh. Gym equipment awesome. Members very respectful. And trainers always smiling.

Laura the club manager, was very patient and helpful with me in dealing with my account overdue issue, she went out of her way to contact the franchise owner to arrange a resolution and agreement for me.

She's also been so lovely every time I am at the gym, and very easy to talk to.

I have been coming to Marsden AF even if I have 3 other AF's closer to me, always maintained clean, toilets always impeccable, a cleaner always around.

TLDR; Deceptive wording on the AF FAQ for "Bring a Friend" policy.

I attended as a guest for 3 days during staffed hours, which is a requirement as written in the FAQ section on the AF website (pictured).

When arriving on the first day with my partner (who is a member) there were no obvious sign in areas for guests, so I assumed that using the QR check in would suffice. The female staff member didn't approach me to sign in when I entered either, so I assumed I was doing the right thing and continued the same check in procedure for day 2.

On day 3 she approached me when I entered and [aggressively] asked if I checked in. When I said yes she seemed confused, so I showed her my QR check in on my phone. When she realised the mistake I'd made, she abruptly said I had to sign in properly and what I was doing wasn't allowed.

No dramas there - I was glad I now knew the sign in process, but I didn't appreciate the aggressive tone.

The part I'm unhappy with - In the office, she said I could only be a guest if I signed up for a 7 day free trial, then after that I'd have to start paying $15 per entry after that or sign up to be a member.

That's very deceptive compared to what's written on the AF site (pictured).

Either the FAQ on the website needs to state the "Bring a Friend" policy will inevitably incur costs or state that guest passes cost $x, but price varies between clubs.

Great and clean gym. The staff members are very nice. I like it when they greet you with a smile:).

Awesome people, lots of machines in good condition, friendly staffs and a very clean and healthy environment. Most of all, I rate this place 5 star and recommend it.

I have trained here since this gym newly opened. They had great practices during covid and are always clean. Lovely staff and trainers with well maintained equipment. Classes are included in membership.

Staff at the help desk are pretty rude and unhelpful once you buy the membership. The look on the face is why have you come.

New n clean. Workers put weights n handles away. Wish they had a supported t bar row machine tho

This is a really good quality gym. Always staff members cleaning and heaps of new good quality equipment. Huge area that feels very spacious. The other members and staff are very friendly which makes for a great atmosphere.
