Anytime Fitness

Made the mistake of putting in an online enquiry to ask for pricing, because this is not on the website. Was inundated by phone calls during work hours. When I said "sorry I cant talk right now, I am still at work", they hung up on me without even saying a word. This sounds like aggressive sales done wrong, and its just plain rude.

The air conditioning is not always working.unbearable workout during the summer in this gym

This gym has gone downhill in a big way over the past few years. Equipment is dated and jumbled all over the place. Generally crowded and badly ventilated so always stinks. Bathrooms are straight up disgusting. Leaving this review in the hope owners/management invest in a clean up or refurb as the staff are always very friendly and enthusiastic and deserve a better facility!

Although there are areas of the gym that need refurbishment. The place is very welcoming if you’re a beginner to the gym and the staff have been very helpful with answering enquiries about memberships.

Anytime Marrickville is the place to train! So many machines to use, so spacious and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.

Cleanliness of the gym is simply disgusting; great staff/stacked with strong machine selection although it’s constantly busy and makes it hard to get a quick workout in without waiting for machines.

I have been a member of Anytime Fitness for many years. Have decided to leave, as there was no maintenance including cleaning the bathrooms for many months and was only getting worse. The place is filthy! Have arranged for a cancellation of my membership, everything being finalised with David (the manager) Three months later, I am still being charged for a membership that was cancelled. Appalling service. In the industry were there is a gym around every corner, Anytime Fitness Marrickville certainly doesn’t make any effort to keep or get your business. Not worth your hard earned money!

Walked in looking to sign up and was welcomed with an amazing atmosphere. David and Sarah made it so easy to sign up and start my journey.

The environment here is like no other. The community and staff are so welcoming its like a little family. Look forward to coming here everyday

Not even a member of this gym and receive numerous unwanted emails and sm’s that i have requested to be removed from on at least 6 occasions.poor customer service

Welcoming friendly and never too busy. Easy to park. David and his team always greet you with a smile and wave on way out. David is an asset to the brand and is a genuine, kind and helpful dude.

Really great gym! We have a gym that’s closer to us but prefer coming to AF Marrickville because the team and people at Marrickville are much friendlier and you can usually get all the equipment you need!

One of the best gym in the area. I just have 1 request. Can i please have warm water in gym to drink. The water is too cold to drink in the morning. Thank you

I was excited to join this gym because it was super close to home and I was told that they were about to renovate the entire gym with 'better' equipment. It's now been 6 months. I've tried to give the gym a good go however the current equipment is really average with rusty pins. I asked to see if they had a hip thrust pad however I was advised by staff it would be best to buy one at K-Mart. I've tried to get out of the contract as it's not met my expectations on what was promised and now I'm being told to pay a $300 cancellation fee or freeze and wait for the renovations. I'm never one to complain, feels icky but this experience has been so average!

David, Sarah and Stella are the most friendly gym guys, they are also very helpful and really care about the people that regularly come to the Marrickville Anytime Fitness. All 3 have managed to bring in many new members too that immediately realise this is the way a gym should be run and makes members comfortable and confident that this is a gym they want to go to. All credit to the Team and a very big thanks from me too!
