One of the worst customer experience I have received by a member of staff in here named Alvin, who is on reception. My membership was put in incorrectly by another member of staff, who was actually very helpful. Alvin, first of all was aggressive and asked me if I had the app which I was told I didn’t need, if I had my swipe. As I went to look at my phone, he grabbed it out of his hand to check himself if there was an app. Then on the phone he said in front of my face “he’s looking at me with a blank expression” on whether I had the app or not. Overall he made me feel very uncomfortable, and like I had done something wrong. The experience was awful. When I went into the gym on other occasions, I could sense some sort of aggression from him. And today which I was never told he ran over to stop me from working out and said I have to leave as I was wearing crocs. Which fair enough if it is a rule but I seen numerous people wearing in that gym. I will be now taking another 30 minute journey to rose bay gym, where the staff are lovely, not to return to this gym because of his actions.
I love this club, there’s too many clubs around where I live yet I prefer to go to bondi junction, it’s very spacious well air conditioned, great equipments, very clean and tidy, and on the top of all great friendly welcoming staff, Joel is a very nice and helpful, well done guys, I highly recommend.
Great place, good crowd of people, good equipment.
Excellent customer service from the staff
Although the facilities are great especially after the new renovation, I have had an extremely unpleasant experience dealing with management, they were extremely unhelpful with aiding in finding my stolen headphones, after 2 weeks of nagging they still made minimal efforts to find the person who stole it. Troy was extremely disrespectful towards me and treated me In a way which was extremely inappropriate, he started shouting at me in the middle of the gym and gave me an arbitrary fine because I lost my pass and was saving up to buy a new one but I was still paying for the membership. Great gym, horrible service. I would recommend going to any other gym in Bondi junction
Still trying to receive the money wrongfully charged through the process of cancelling my membership back May/2022. Not easy, and the staff do not keep you updated. If you haven't enrolled yet I would think twice. If you're already with them, be aware whenever trying to cancel your membership. Complain on FairTrade to be lodged.
Terrible custome service! So glad I cancelled my membership and never coming back again. Don't recommend to anyone!
Awesome Gym and staff, clean with everything to train but don't go if you want to train less of 1 year or the membership cost Will be Crazy to pay.
The Gym in Bondi Junction itself is nice, not too big but there is a good variety of equipment and they try to keep the machines and accessories up to date.
On the other hand, I have had a pretty bad experience with the Management where I had been charged a couple of times extra and had to explain my situation several times (4 times to the manager).
It took around 9 months to solve it including a quite long email conversation, numerous phone calls and a lot of hassle for a problem that could have been solved in 2 weeks' time.
But with a big help of Mai (anytime fitness employee) I finally got my money back.
I have been a long time member (around 18 months) gym has gone up a level post renovations. Clean, heaps of equipment and awesome staff. Couldn't recommend more highly
I find the managment very money hungry and don't really put much effort in running the gym
Anytime Fitness Bondi Junction is a fantastic gym and one that I recommend to anyone looking to join a new gym. The equipment is first class. The environment is great. Mai and Sam are fantastic to deal with, making me feel so welcome anytime I come to the gym and always so accomodating. Thanks again Mai & Sam.
The coach’s at Bondi junction or so knowledgeable and I have seen amazing results front their guidance. The staff also makes you apart of their amazing training community! Thank you!
Requested to cancel my membership which should've been processed immediately. Continued to charge my card and when confronted, claimed they simply "didn't get round to it" due to personal reasons.negligent staff.
I am an anytime fitness member from long time now and for me this is one of the best gym to go. Services Always clean and areas always well organized.

Staff were fine but the website provides no information for ongoing members, such as class schedules, and the debit payments are awful. I continuously got told I paid late payments despite providing my details for recurring payments and my first handful of payments overcharged me as they charged me for the wrong membership price. I'll definitely go with another gym after my membership expires.
Communication is also difficult, I felt unheard and often called randomly instead of having my emails answered. Would not recommend.
As a member of Anytime on and off for over 13 years this club is the worst. My membership was paused due to injury, they continued to debit money. Even after documents had been provided. I received an email stating offer of refund and member cancellation but after sending my details a month ago Still No refund. Looking at small claims court now.
I’m disgusted in the owners of this gym. They are currently advertising a “6 week challenge” whatever you do don’t sign up to this. I did a “8 week challenge” and nobody won.
They didn’t give out prizes. There was a change of staff during the challenge – old staff were all over it and new everything. So helpful and nice & New staff didn’t know anything never followed up or anything – I know its not the staff fault but seriously. What do you do to change staff so much? Look at how you run your business.
I paid to do this challenge – no winner announced. Its really ridiculous

I have joined AF Bondi in 2015 and was in good shape with 10-15 % body fat, but when Covid-19 came and we started working from home I have gained a lot of weight and body fat. In 2020 and in early 2021 I did not step a single day in gym, hence my body fat % increased to 22%. In the end of 2021, I have decided to come back on track so I contacted gym and spoke to Joel and decided to get some guidance from him to help me into my transformation. Since he is expert in his field, he helped me to create personalized nutrition and workout plans for me based on my body composition test and it suited my body type. The result of this is that within 3 months I have successfully burn almost 5 % body fat and have steep improved in other critical factors such as body muscle mass etc. I am still in a journey with him so that under his guidance I will achieve my body goals (in between 10%-12% body fat).
Over the last few months, he has demonstrated a quality guidance, professionalism, and with his expertise, I am progressing everyday. For those who are looking to do the same or has fitness goals, I would like to recommend him. Additionally, I would like to say thanks to Jade and Steve for helping me with other gym queries.
Honestly the old staff were much more friendly and helpful.once the new manager left (tegan watson) i think her name was - the vibe has changed. It seems they have lots of staff turnover and the gym is overdue for upgrade. I signed up as staff were so great and helpful and loved it but its just not the same. New manager is nice but the old staff would go above and beyond. Nathan and max come back!
