Antek's Home Maintenance

Contacted this so called handyman service on the 24th Jan, 2023several first by phone, he sent me an appointment link to his business, could only send 1 photo on what I was needing done to my home. Have never heard back from him, even messaged him directly on the 29Th Jan and then today 13th Feb, and still has not even bothered to answer my messages. Wont be giving this company any of my business. He will probably contact me after reading this bad review! GREAT WAY TO RUN YOUR BUSINESS!

You will recall from my email below that the power in the shed was not working when you “finished” the job.
I left it for six weeks, and then started investigating.
It turned out the breaker kept tripping, because the entire shed metal cladding was live, and was being shorted to earth by the pool fence, which connects to the shed.

After cutting numerous holes in the lining, I eventually found the problem.
You or your colleague had left the bare wire touching the cladding, and then put insulation over the top and installed the lining. See the pic.

There was arcing where the cable was touching the metal.
It could have ended in a fire or worse still, death.
Thanks goodness for the earth-leakage breaker. It was just luck that the shed was connected to the pool fence, otherwise a person would have been the conduit to earth.

I should sue the arse off you for negligence and recompense for the 20 hours of time it took me to find and fix the problem.
I might just choose to settle for a terrible review on Google Plus.

He has been extremely reliable with the jobs he has helped me with and he has a great knowledge of literally everything you need fixed or built around the house. He has a great eye for carpentry work and his finishes are very professional. You won’t be disappointed!

Antek is banned from Bunnings because he was caught stealing.

He then was arrested for returning to steal more.

Antek visited my elderly mother in Willoughby to attend to a carport leakage issue. He spent considerable time looking seriously into our issue before offering us some alternative solutions. His diagnosis proved essential and his work was terrific. We have no problems using him again in the future.

Antek is extremely knowledgeable, works fast and is an impeccably tidy worker. He's completed a number of small and larger jobs for me with ease.
