Anaconda Penrith

Don’t buy online. The click and collect option.cause you’ll get stitched up. Purchased an item online clearly says available in the selected store. I even called the store to make sure it’s available, to get a cancellation email of my order. Money won’t be transferred back into account for 2-3 business days and can’t even get a transfer to another store to pick up cause it’ll take longer to process. Moral of my story don’t have an option if you can’t deliver, I’m happy to drive all the way the other side of the country to collect, at least I’ll know it’s ready for me to pick up.

For our camping needs, we brought lots of needy and practical items from the Penrith store. The service is excellent and with helpful advice from staff. We brought Gazebo, 3 camps, dune mattresses, sleeping bags, kettle, stove, gas flask, camp table, foldable chars, light beanie to name a few. Everything you want, they got it. And and if is not available in the store, they get it for you from other stores. Excellent shop and service.

Louise is a great employee, very accommodating. Helped me find everything I need. Very good at services. She is exceptional, she should be proud, shoot for the stars

There’s no doubt Anaconda has everything you could possibly imagine and more when it comes to outdoors and camping, hiking and travelling outdoors in general. From clothing to tents there is literally everything you can think of. If you’re going for a browse be prepared to be in there for a while, when I say there is a lot of stock, I mean there is A LOT of inventory in the warehouse. It can be a little overwhelming so I would recommend definitely having some sort of list or game plan in mind if you are there to purchase. The staff were all really friendly and knowledgeable and the only downside for me is I found the place just so massive and full of stuff you would definitely want a list of some sort unless you knew exactly what you’re after.

I'm a regular customer here, and the service has been fine until this afternoon. Walked in 10 mins before closing time (apparently 5: 30 in winter) and was notified by the staff at the counter. Proceeded to check out the products I had come for when another staff member took it on herself to say "we close soon, so you'd better be quick", and then followed me around the store. 5 minutes to closing time and her words were "you're pushing it now". I asked if they had a specific product in stock and the answer was "our storeman leaves at 4, I cant help you". Honestly not the service I'd expect anywhere and as having a customer service position myself, I would never dream of speaking to my customers like this.

Called up because I was in a rush to put some kayak plugs on hold we were told yep all good we can hold them till the end of the day turn up and let the lady know she says sorry I can’t find them let me get somebody else standing around for 15 minutes completely ignored no one was talking to us stores an absolute mess nothings clearly labeled there’s things everywhere the canoe section is right next to the checkout something so simple can not even be completed never going back to this store.

I recently bought a Dune 4wd ultimate deluxe gazebo. 2 of its struts snapped when we were putting it up when it was about 4 months old. Anaconda were extremely efficient in doing the exchange under warranty.

A little disappointed with this store, a lot of what you would expect but no one to help you. Did get some advice on hiking boots from another customer that was helpful, great to see people are still kind enough to help each other.

Bought DUNE 4WD XL chair, very comfortable but the issue is you get massive electrical shocks every time you stand up to the back of your leg, No my wife is scared to sit on the dam thing

This is my goto store for anything adventure. Anaconda Penrith is a huge store that has all your anything fishing, rods reels hooks fly etc, and camping (coolers, tents, sleeping bags, etc, and a huge range of clothing goods, footwear, anything you need for the Great Outdoors. And their prices are super reasonable, especially on their sales goods.
Do yourself a favour and go to Anaconda before you get ripped off at the other BRAND named stores.

Just like to give a five star rating to Melinda at the Penrith Store. Even though it was past her knock off time she was so helpful in assisting with pricing product choice. Over and above service. Thankyou

Not the best place to shop. If your not a member the price is almost double. Why? How is this possible? Why is my name, email address and phone number worth so much money? I worry!

Unfortunately my shopping experience here was unpleasant and a complete waste of time. I was shopping for a mountain bike. When I got to the mountain bike section 2 of the team members were having a random conversation there. Neither asked if I would like some help, they both just moved into another section. Very few of the push bikes had price tags and the ones that did didn't fit the description of the product on display above it. I had to go back to the front of the store to ask for assistance. The team member who attended was nice enough but couldn't really help much either due to the issues with the price tags so I left without a bike and feeling I had wasted my time.

Outstanding customer service from Tessa and the team. Went above and beyond to help us out when travelling through on our way home. Thanks a million!

Today 26th Dec 2021.
I attended Penrirh store, in search of sun shelter n picnic table.
Was greeted by Edd, asking if I need assistance. He was the best! Very knowledgeable, helpful, he even put 2 little picnic tables together so I can see if it was what I wanted. Well done Edd thank you for your assistance n friendly service.

Firstly, thank you Jess for 'upselling' a better pair of hiking shoes. You know your product well! Whilst being a pleasure to talk to.

Completely false advertising about Click and collect. Purchased item on Monday and still cant pick up item on Tuesday evening at 730PM. Moreover item is in stock in store but no one to help and fix the order. Utterly shameful experience.

Staff are always friendly and helpful! The prices are always competitive and will price match as well.

I've just had the best customer service of my life, the young fella in the fishing section was not only polite and helpful he was the most knowledgeable young bloke I've ever seen, knows the local fishing and recommended a couple of lures that I purchased.walked in for one item, and I walked out happily spending double!
You'll go far in life mate, 10/10 service!

The range of goods in the line I wanted has diminished to the point that they are no longer stocked. Very disappointed.
