We have just had our third photo shoot with Amy - we’ve done maternity, newborn and first birthday photos - and she has exceeded expectations every time! Amy is lovely to work with, the sessions are fun (not at all stressful, despite the chaos of photographing two small children!), the studio is a gorgeous environment and she has captured the spirit of our girls perfectly. I LOVE the final products - highly recommend!

I adored our photo session with Amy. With a 5 week old, I was super apprehensive but Amy assured me it would turn out great. And it did!

Amy is warm and friendly and wonderful with children. She was so patient as we dressed bub and even when bub was a little cranky and needed a bit of soothing.

We love love love the photos and will always treasure them.

We enjoyed our session so much, I know we will be back to have more photos taken by Amy as bub grows.

Amazing- I cannot speak more highly of Amy and the whole newborn photography session! She made my whole family feel immediately at ease, and knew what to do to produce beautiful photos from 2 active young ones and a fussy newborn! She’s highly professional, adept at her craft, yet super nice and listened to my needs and never did I feel rushed or was just another client! Super responsive via email prior, constant update about progress, and photos came quicker than I thought! Thank you Amy-we are so lucky to have you as our newborn photographer and made such special gush-worthy photos that we can now cherish forever! I cannot rate her skills highly enough!

Amy is a genuine professional and her approach to newborn photography is thoughtful, creative and caring. She is very comfortable with newborns and the calm atmosphere she produces shows in the end product. We were delighted with our beautiful photos and highly recommend her to anybody seeking newborn photography.

We had a maternity shoot. I think her baby pics are absolutely adorable and that’s probably her speciality but not maternity pics.

Pros: Amy is a lovely lady and was easy to deal with. She made an effort to make us feel comfortable. Turnaround time was good too!

Negatives: Unfortunately we find the quality of pics we received isn’t worth the money. A lot of things that a photographer should pic up on like slouched shoulders, chin lifting, move the head a bit, hand position etc.otherwise you can just do it yourself. That’s why you kind of seek a professional so they help you with all that. So it feels like an overpriced shoot for what we got out of it hence the 2 stars. If you have a friend with a good camera and some photo editing skills, save yourself some money. We did approach the photographer afterwards and expressed our disappointment but other than taking the feedback on board we didn’t get much out of that.

We had our sons first birthday cake smash with Amy and had such an amazing experience. Amy’s studio was fantastic and fitted out with many cake smash outfits and settings we could use for the shoot. Amy is kind and patient and was great at making our son happy to get his photos taken. We were amazed at how good all the photos looked when we received them. We highly recommend Amy- what an amazing photographer!

Amy is so professional and lovely and so easy to work with. I was absolutely amazed to see how easily she settled our 4 day old daughter. I cannot speak highly enough about her and our experience. First and foremost, Amy made us feel so comfortable as soon as we stepped in to her studio. Accommodated us and offered us a beverage which was a nice gesture.

As for our little one, she really knows how to get the smiles and beautiful pictures even when he got a little tired, she was very efficient and quick which is very important when you have a little one that wants to have a feed or take a nap at anytime. I recommend Amy Tong to anyone that wants brilliant pictures of their little one and that expects great customer service.

She is happy to answer any queries after the session and always is so prompt with her replies. 5 star service all the way. Thank you Amy!

Amy was so kind, loving and professional during our newborn session. She actually helped us out a lot after our horrible experience with another new born photographer by fitting us in last minute. As new parents, Amy made us feel comfortable and gave us a lot of creative ideas during the session. I couldn’t recommend her any more to new parents, she’s so good with babies let alone her photos! Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Go with Amy - you won’t regret it!

Our new family was superbly photographed by this talented lady. The photos are beautiful. Nothing too fussy or over the top - just classic beautiful photos of our new baby. We'll be back when our baby is older for another session. We can't wait!

We had a wonderful experience with Amy. As a nervous first time mum I wasn't sure how my little girl was going to go and whether she'd behave for her photo shoot. My worries were gone from the moment Amy welcomed us into her beautiful studio space. She has such a knack with babies - calming and settling them (and us as parents!). We felt totally at ease with her. The photos are absolutely beautiful. We have just received our framed prints for the wall of our daughter's nursery and they are so lovely. Obviously high quality workmanship. We would recommend Amy in a heartbeat and look forward to returning for our daughter's next photo shoot.

I can highly recommend Amy. She is a supreme professional at what she does. Wonderful customer service at all stages, beautiful images and products. We will be back for a Sitter session in a few months and for any future children we may have. The best newborn photographer in Sydney for sure.

I can't rave about this lady enough. She took my fussy crying baby and worked some sort of voodoo baby whispering magic. The photos of my little boy are nothing short of amazing. I really didn't want the really fussy look of babies in baskets with flowers and things. Amy's work really spoke to me as she's all about natural simple beautiful photos. Capturing them just as they are at this moment. I was recommended to Amy by a lady in my prenatal class and I'm so so glad I got these photos. I've already booked in my boy's sitting session with her. I know we will be back again and again. Don't think about it. JUST BOOK HER!

Amy is a total professional at what she does, she was very comfortable with both sleep deprived parents and newborns. We enjoyed both the photo taking session and the photos themselves! Highly recommended.
