Ambi's Chai Bar North Sydney

Absolutely fricken Amazing chai just like the chai I grew up with and delicious food. I wish we had this place in Perth, I would spend so much money there.

Everything was perfect.

The vibe, the chai, the food and the service.

I cannot fault this place.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Ambi's Chai, and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with cozy nooks and friendly staff. The highlight, of course, was their beautiful selection of exotic chais. From traditional classics to unique blends, they had it all.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS! Takes 20mins to brew so you know this stuff is legit. Ordered the one with chocolate and pleased to find out that they melt actual chocolate into the chai. Will be hopefully back soon to try the other flavours:) Staff are also super friendly and patient!

Hands down my favourite place to visit for a break in my workday and to enjoy some socialising. The Chais are fantastic, the vibe is cool and the service is warm and friendly. The only challenge is deciding which beautiful chai to have - they’re all great!

Fast becoming a favorite and a go to every evening. Every chai is unique, tasty and exotic. Highly recommended

Firstly the good - Great atmosphere, awesome music playing. The chai was great, very authentic and the fact you could order with vegan milk was definitely a plus. The serving of the chai was good. Long glass.

Cons - the food portions. I ordered the chicken, literally 2 tablespoons of chopped, cold chicken. Pickled veggies were delicious and the roti was nice and crispy. The flavour overall was good. The other people on the table ordered the Chole (chickpeas). Not as flavoursome and again small portions. I would rather pay a little more and get a bigger portion.

There are 5 items on the menu, so I would have expected to be blown away.

The biggest cons were 1) the cold chicken, and 2) the service (it was very bleh). The two young ladies serving didn’t seem interested. And it took forever to get it. Although I get it, the roti was freshly made. Ladies were polite, but not amazing service.

We will come back for the chai.

Finally a proper chai bar, everything is so good, authentic way to make chai, the cake and food also great, I can visit everyday.

I want to give honest review here, chai was not that great.becoz I am a big tea lover and according to me there are some points I think you guys should improve
The quantity was too much but quality was not that great and price is too much for one cup tea please give fresh tea and it should boiled properly then only it will give good taste.

Discovered this gem today. The vibe and warmth of this place is beyond measure. Fantastic chai that will take you back to Indian gullies

Ambi's Chai in North Sydney is a chai lover's dream come true! The chais are absolutely fantastic and I can vouch for their authenticity. The venue offers a delightful atmosphere with the perfect blend of music and the inviting aroma of chai filling the air. The staff is friendly, making our visit enjoyable. We are definitely planning to return for more delightful chai experiences at Ambi's Chai!

Always a great chai and time at Ambi’s - love that there’s one local to me now. The chais are delicious, and the vibe made even better with the friendly service by Diya, Sushmitha, Sam, Zofia and the rest Try the Brooksy - it’s my favourite!

Great selection of Chai Tea's from lighter to spicier. Something different to to your standard Chai Latte.

Very exciting new addition in North Sydney. A fantastic range of chai flavors and a very helpful and informative staff. I'm having all my friends catch ups here from now on

I pay attention to their opening hours because I am addicted to this fantastic place. Ashley remembers customers’ names and gives good advice on Chai varieties. I picked up a take away pack for home and got brewing instruction from the website. So good!

Just as I’ve given 5 stars for their Pennant Hills chai bar, North Sydney deserves the same 5. Good quality, authentic chai. Newcomers, try a more chocolatey Maddy’s Mzungu or Diya’s Peppermint. If you can handle the flavour, try the original Ambi’s Chai!

I’m super disappointed, we all had a sore tummy afterwards but we were lucky we didn’t get food. The lady sitting across the bar ordered a roti and she was complaining about her dish being cold. The worker went to reheat it and the lady had to teach him about not putting yogurt or condiments in the microwave. She was super kind but the workers really had no idea.
The girl that served us (Asian looking) was really angry and was was rude to another lady that looked like a regular, when she opened the takeaway cups and saw the cups not full. The lady asked is there any tea left in the pot before taking off and the Asian girl said to her NO THAT’S IT! There is nothing left in a pretty rude voice. We were all shocked.
Nothing like the original shop. It’s a shame because it’s a lot close to us

Love this late night chai place, especially with the cold nights we are having. For me who’s not a regular chai drinker, I thought it was quite strong and punchy the first time but in a good way, that might be because they make each cup fresh! I liked all the ones I’ve tried esepcially the chocolate ones
