Ambi's Chai Bar

This is becoming a regular joint for us. Excellent selection of desi chai, good service and place had a nice vibe.

We're groovin' to the vibe of this place, man! The ambiance is like a funky beat, and let's talk about that tea – it's on a whole new level of excellence, way above par! Missing out on this experience would be like skipping a dance step in our monthly routine. Can't resist the urge to visit at least once or twice a month – it's our tea-fueled groove session!

I believe it's an overrated place, no place to sit, specifically not for the families at all. Hardly a few chairs and a couple of tables outside. No one will entertain. And the food and chai was also below average.
So 1 star for now, until they improve the quality of the food and service.

Easily beats traditional South Asian tea outlets in Auburn, Lakemba and other Desi hotspots.

Excellent tea and great twists - egg bhurji with pinapple and pomegranate.would have give 7 star if staff was smiling

The best Chai we've ever had! What a beautiful way to spend a Saturday night. The atmosphere is so calming. Big selection of different Chai. It is a must have! Highly recommended.

This is the place. Best chai in Sydney. The staff get to know you on a first name basis straight away (and always remember your name). A very social place: expect to get chatting. Ambi is the chai wizard but this is not merely a Chai temple. This is a community. This place is a treasure. Go forth and drink chai! Specifically, the Ambi’s, Ashlee’s, Maddy’s, Stuey’s and Haldi Masala varieties (I’ve tried all of them and these are the top 5 in my mind).

Beautiful people and ambient. Good place for any age. Authentic tea… I hope they consider to extend opening hrs.

Being open till 10 pm over the weekend is great! Staff so friendly and there is a wide variety of special recipes!

Late night chais are the best!

Too much spice even on the Desi chai which was supposed to be lightly spiced. Also there are no options for chai without spice.

Just brilliant! The place, the staff and the tea! A little busy and hence has to wait but the wait was well worth it. The Chais are authentic, surely will be trying some stronger ones next time.

The Desi chai was nice. Tried Ashlee's masala chai too - not great. Good ambience - guess that is where the Afro part comes in. Good folks and great service.

This one's a must try.
