Worth the trip from Sydney! Always something to look at or something going on. The place is constantly improving with more plans underway. Train ride included in entry and if it's too full and needs another train ride, they sometimes bring an animal out for education while you wait. Grab a feed bag, so many animals to feed. A lot to learn with a wide range of animals to read about and watch.

What a wonderful unique place. Our 6 year old had a ball playing in the mazes while my husband and I checked out the birds. Keeper talks were great and very hands on, with paid photo opportunities afterwards. What an absolute treat to get a look at 'behind the scenes'on the train as they build the zoo. We did the meerkat experience and could not recommend it more. Caroline the keeper was amazing and the meerkats were having more fun than us playing around even after the food was gone! Cafe food was on the higher end$$$, but did not mind paying it as it was delicious and fast (for made to order!). Staff were all super friendly!

One of the best maintained farm to spend with the family. The kids would love it - especially the train as well as feeding the farm animals. Would definitely recommend it for families with kids younger than 10yrs.

A good experience overall. A nice cafe with lots of excellent, tasty foods on offer. Hedge mazes offer something unusual for the kids, and there are lots of animals to see, feed, and touch. Can see they're expanding with more animal enclosures, which will be better when complete. It was a nice day and an enjoyable experience.

Brilliant place! All the staff were fabulous.
Definitely not ready on the zoo side but the meerkat experience were worth every cent, we had a ball.
We went on a Monday and had the place almost to ourselves was fantastic.

Great place to take little ones. Ours loved the mazes, especially.

Lunch at the cafe was delicious.

Great for kids, get there early, or can get very hot. Great for 3-8. Too small, and they'll miss the rides. Too big. They miss rides, ponies, etc.

We took our little one here on a hot day shortly before Christmas. I'll describe the place below, but first I want to highlight how incredibly "on the ball" the staff were.

Three anecdotes:
1. The lady running the Ferris wheel & rotating cars attractions. She had an astonishing radar for making the experience great for each individual child. Our tiny one was scared to be on the Ferris wheel, so she let her go around just once and then asked if she wanted to go again. A little later, some other kids kind of "pushed in" to the rotating cars (not really on purpose), and the lady reserved a car for our tiny tot. When the car attraction was running she would spin each car a different amount - very gently with us and exuberantly with the bigger kids. She was smiley and put her heart into it and this made it such a nice experience. Thankyou!

2. There was a queue for the train which meant a 15 minute wait. The staff noticed this and organised for a lizard to be brought out and taken around for patting!

3. The lady running the cafe and taking orders was just so cheerful.

Oh and I forgot -
4. The baby animal patting.each child has a seat with their parents and they are brought out in little cardboard boxes.again, staff very attentive.

The amazing staff made all the difference! What an amazing team!

Okay so now some general information about the place.

Basically the park has two sections - an open section with various attractions, and then a closed section that can only be visited by train.

They advertise that the train only goes 3 times each day (11am.and 2 other times.) but when we were there it was busy & the train did additional trips (I think the 3 trips a day is for quiet days where they don't want to be staffing a train that has very few people on it). The train goes into the closed section where there are bigger zoo animals - camels, lions, ostriches, and much more. But the trip only goes for about 15 minutes. For 5 of those minutes you can disembark at a platform and feed some camels. The train trip is included in the entrance fee.

So then there is the open section which has three mazes, some playground equipment, some birds, a wallaby area, a baby animal area (where you sit with your children and they bring animals to pet), the ferris wheel / car amusement attractions.but these only start running from 11am.and an animal presentation space where a staff member brings out various animals and talks about them and brings them around for a pat. There are probably some other spots I've forgotten. There's a cafe in the middle with some indoor and outdoor tables and some indoor armchairs (a nice touch). The cafe has buzzers so you can order and wait for your buzzer to go off. The toilets are well kept.

It's not a huge place but we found plenty to do for about 4 hours or so. Entrance fee + lunch for 3 all added up but then the place is well run and well staffed so it felt worth it. I'm pretty sure we were there on a busy day and the place "coped" quite well with the busyness, in no small part because the staff were so cluey.

It's ideal for small children. I definitely recommend it! We'll be coming back for sure.

I took some photos of their cafe menu.

This was a fun little park so spend a couple of hours. My toddler enjoyed the train ride and the spinning tea cups. Staff were also really friendly.

Gave it 4 stars as we thought it was pricey for what it was. The animal talks were good but there were limited animals that you could see/pet independently outside of the talk/show times.

Great experience for our 2.5 year old twins. Loved being able to get up close to the animals. Really safe to let the kids run around. The food at the cafe was fantastic with good quality food and range. All rangers were super nice. It was clean. Also great with rangers walking around with animals throughout the grounds to keep kids engaged. Highly recommend for little ones.

Good location for very young kids. Will be better for older children when the zoo part opens.

We had a terrific day for my granddaughters birthday today. From the time we got there at 9.30 till 3 we enjoyed all the attractions. The staff were all very nice & Karen was great at the rides. The young girl at the petting zoo was very helpful & informative. The girl giving the reptile show was interesting as well. And how good was the food. Hopefully this park will continue to entertain lots of families on the Central Coast. The park is a credit to all who help & work there.
Highly recommend.

We arrived around midday on a weekend and it wasn’t busy (so we pretty much had the park to ourselves, no complaints there)! We sat down first to eat lunch, the food is so tasty and the cafe staff are so friendly. We then jumped on the train ride which takes you around the part of the zoo that is not open yet. I will definitely be back when it’s all open.
We then went into the petting farm area with Keeper Jacob, we got to bottle feed the baby goats, have ducklings, Guinea pigs, and rabbits sit on our laps.
We watched the last parts of Zhen’s talk, she was holding one of the Possums. Zhen was very friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer every question.
During the holiday period they were doing photos with their Burmese Python, she was so friendly and quite happy to rest around our shoulders. James (aka Frosty) and Caroline were so friendly and patient while my family was taking millions of photos.
We wanted the reptile talk at 2: 30, Karina was incredibly knowledgeable, and was always happy to answer any questions. She brought out an Eastern Blue Tongue lizard, Shingleback lizard, Carpet python named Steve, and then 3 Corn snakes.
All staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this zoo and fun park to anyone visiting the central coast? ️

As an adult I found the park to be very educational and being able to be up close and personal with the small animals was great! I love being able to pat the cute soft fluffy animals and be able to get good pictures of them. The staff were friendly and obliging and the train ride was fun.
