At all times we were kept up to date with the works, all trades that attended the site were professional & polite, and the knowledge, care, and attention to detail was second to none. There was a leak in my kitchen ceiling that I had 3 builders come out to fix over the course of 18 months. We had a big storm & the damage got worse. I was going crazy!
I had my strata contact Altec as I heard through friends that John was very particular with his work. Over the course of 2 days, they were able to find and rectify where the leak was coming from and fix my ceiling in the kitchen. It was the most inconvenient spot & I had been so frustrated with the lack of knowledge & care the other builders had.

I would HIGHLY recommend John & his team to anyone that would ask!

I would not recommend this company for any building works. My unit has been vacant for 4.5 months for various repairs to be completed. We have had to deal with 3 project managers, Alex, Jake & Vasilis. Work orders issued by Conti Strata were for New Windows, Lintel’s replacement, Brickwork repairs and painting. Most subcontractors used, were incompetent in their jobs and in that 4.5 months Altec and their project managers have been trying to rectify the low standard of work that their subcontractors have done. In the end, we are the ones that have to compromise and must live with their incompetence, as most of the work was not rectified to a good standard as was expected and promised. John the director of Altec quotes and tells you how the works will be done, but poor workmanship is what we ended up with. It has been a very stressful and anxious time dealing with them and their subcontractors and I would not recommend them.

Altec were really great to work with, their communication was on point. They renovated our property and kept us up to date with all works and process of how it was going. I would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

Our complex of 36 apartments in 3 blocks awarded a major maintenance contract to Altec which includes pressure cleaning, wall rendering repairs and painting.

Consult with Anthony re the 1st stage to prevent damage to potted plants on balconies during the pressure spray cleaning and with the chemicals used.

Observed that staff was hoisted up by a mini concertina crane and did a professional job. As I walked on the driveway to the garages today, the concrete ground was glistening white in the bright sun!

Unprofessional, cheap middle men.that couldn’t organise or repair scratched paint. Untrustworthy and not true to their words or Contractual terms.

We have appointed Altec Building on a number of projects over the years both through our Building Strata and for renovations to our Apartment. The quality of their work, and the level of communication throughout the process is something I have not experienced with other building companies.

A massive thanks to Alex for arranging the work and getting it done to specifications on such a timely manner. Thank you Phillip and Mark for all the hard work you guys have done to get the cages complete very quickly. The cages in our basement just look so amazing and you guys have done a brilliant job keeping disturbances to a minimum and we are very happy with the work performed. Altec repaired my balcony that had some significant water defect issues. The job was done extremely well and I'm now enjoying a brand new, dry balcony. A shout out to Anthony who was the project manager. Extremely professional, great work ethic and was constantly keeping me in the loop on project progress. Would definitely recommend!

Requiring to replace 4 x car ports in my strata Altec Building was one of the recommendations offered to us. We had Anthony come out to quote on the job and was suitably impressed with his professionalism and flexibility to create a suitable solution to our needs.
Prior to and during the job the level of communications was excellent from both the supervisor and main office to ensure that each phase of the build was what was expected.
Once the job commenced the ethics from the guys were great, arrived on time, respectable to the other townhouses, cleaned as they went and completed within time.

I highly recommend calling John for any building needs! He’s very informative, kept his word and showed up on time. The work was finished quickly and efficiently but without compromising quality and the job site wasn’t left in a mess when the job was done.
