Alstonville swimming pool - Alstonville Aquatic Centre

What a great public facility. Pools have ramps you can ease down into the water. There us a heated pool with a roof over it, no problem with sunburn, not too deep, just over a meter deep, and a ledge for little ones to play in. A major outdoor pool, nice ram pool to enter if you want, plenty deeper than the covered heated pool although gradual to the deep. A great place for the little ones with a water park to entertain them. Something for all ages here and those who have disabilities are welcome. Lots of tables and chairs plus 2 electric barbecues to feed the hungry tummies. A great place for all of the family from babies learning to swim to those who just want to do laps. Looking for a nice place to swim with no sand? This is the place for you and your family. Highly recommended!

Your life guard should mind his own business! I was swimming with my son and then got out of the pool because I was waiting for someone to come out of surgery at the Lismore hospital. Being a more than competent mother capable of watching my son (who can swim) and checking my messages, it was completely disrespectful for the life guard to come up and tell me to get off my phone. I watched him do the same to two other women who were spectating their children /grandchildren. There were maybe 20 people in the entire establishment. He clearly got off on authority. Being there were 3 or more PAID life guards there it was completely unreasonable for him to jump on people for touching their PERSONAL phones. Life guards have a job and it is NOT to tell guardians to get off their bloody phone.

The man at the counter also roused on my son for touching the gate and made him cry.

First time there and I will never return.

I love our heated pool at Alstonville, Staff always at the front ready to meet you with a welcome grin, and witty greeting, nothing is a bother always helpful and informative, kind and caring, As a disabled person with Incomplete paraplegia the accessible facilities are excellent, always spotless and clean and poolnentry is safe and easy. I recommend anyone to go there you won't regret it. I love my 10 visit pass too it's quick and easy. Thanks Alstonville Aquatic Staff:)

Great, clean facilities but charging a 1.5 year old $5.50 entry fee, the same as an adult, for a zone swimming competition they're clearly not competing in is disgusting.

What a wonderful clean facility very well managed by Greg Kelly and the team. My god the coffees good.

Beautiful pools, water temperature warm enough to swim year round. Shallow pool is covered and extra warm, ideal for rainy days with kids, adult lap lanes there too. Nice showers, nice coffee. Greg and Kelly local legends run the place.

Amazing pool and staff! Our three little boys go here and they are so happy with their lessons and caring teachers and the temperature of the pool is warm and lovely for the kids. Thank you!

Great pool! Awesome sprinkler play area for toddlers and children under shade cloth. The undercover pool is also fantastic, with a ledge for the little ones to play on. Haven't used the outdoor pool due to sun safety but it looks nice!

Top notch. From the easy to navigate on line timetable to the well appointed exercise pool this place is really great. When I was last there the shower cubicle I used was clean but a little neglected around the wall tiles. Nothing a good scrub and clean couldn't fix.

Really nice, newish outdoor undercover pool! Great for babies! The change room is a bit old & needs an update, would be great to have change tables in there for babies as it’s really awkward to do it on the low seat.

Although a 15 minute drive from Ballina the Alstonvile pool was definitely worth it. I use the heated pool for exercise and these days at 83 I need the ramp to get in and out of the pool. It is waist deep for walking and for swimming with the help of a noodle. There is room enough for several lanes for lap swimmers and a wide section for young children and the less abled. Surrounded by trees and protected from the wind by roll down clear plastc blinds on the south east side I find it ideal. As well as the usual dressing rooms there are two large rooms with every support you could need for disabled swimmers. Best of all hot water showers for the colder months.

Great pool. 25metre pool was very warm, 30 degrees, very nice on a cold day. Facilities and warm showers clean and tidy. Not crowded. Beats my local pool in a nearby town hand's down

Great pools. Even outdoor is heated slightly.
Plenty of tables and seating spots including BBQ areas. Large outdoor pool. Shallower covered pool. Kids water play area. Great toilet, shower, change rooms

Awesomely clean swimming facilities. The lovely staff are so friendly and always working. Someone is always seen to be sanitising and cleaning something. It's great to see. The water sparkles it's so clean. They even provide shower gel in showers. And toilets have lids unlike the ones in Ballina.
Even their concrete surfaces are impeccably clean unlike Ballina. And their cuppas are wonderful.
Staff need commending for the way they keep the facilities. Orderly, clean and tidy.

Great place to swim or teach your kids to swim. Lovely and clean and reasonable price. Covid check in check I appreciated it. Has two pools one undercover and one open. Toilet clean an bright. Definitely come back.

The pool is pristine, a pleasure to swim here. It is however the management that make this a perfect place to swim, charming, knowledgeable and helpful.

Such a nice place to swim, very friendly and helpful staff as well. Excellent experience will be back.

Was okay, they don't let you use the dive boards, so the kids were disappointed. I'd rather go to ballina.

This facilty is top class! Greg and Kelly are very accommodating and the pool is always clean. Really enjoy the coffee too.
