Alpha Renovations

We engaged Alpha Renovations for our bathroom renovation, which entailed combining our bathroom with our ensuite.

Our contact Abraham was terrific from start to finish. Very informative and helpful in his approach and was visibly present on site. He would also go out of his way to help us with items that would pop up during the project and was always transparent with any changes or explanations about the progress of the works.

The design process was a collaborative effort with my ideas and budget AND their practical experience and knowledge. This was a nice approach after several instances with other bathroom renovators who seems to "understand my needs" and yet design rooms (main bathroom and ensuite) that exceeded my budget and didn't incorporate some or most of my preferences.

ALPHA RENOVATIONS were also happy to accommodate my need to renovate the two rooms separately which saved money on the need to rent a mobile trailer bathroom - it's Winter and Covid-19.

The renovation process was smooth and finished on time. I was extremely pleased with the quality, care and professionalism each tradesman exhibited over the entire period. Each of them clearly explained what was going to happen; was adaptable to our preferences; was hardworking; and was attentive to producing quality work, even when they knew that their work was to be covered by tiles, e.g the plumber and electrician.

Talking about adaptability, our renovation involved swapping a 30-year-old large spa bath for a regular bath shape. The solution Abraham came up with to accommodate the drain-outflow was brilliant, cost-effective and looks great. THANK YOU.

Requested quote on a basic but reasonable job. Refused to inspect or offer quote. Palmed off and said seek a different installer. Clearly only take on jobs they deem suitable. Very unprofessional.

Abraham was absolutely lovely to work with! From the first time we met him to finishing off every last detail in our bathroom, he was easy to work with, respectful, helpful and very transparent in everything he did. He completed a bathroom remodel and built a new laundry for us, and both look absolutely stunning. Abraham gave us great advice along the way and explained everything very clearly, including very transparent information when we found some unexpected issues during demolition. All the tradesmen that Abraham worked with were professional, showed up on time and did an amazing job. Our bathroom and laundry turned out exactly as we wanted, thanks to Abraham. Abraham and his team did an exception job renovating our kitchen. They dealt with a tricky space (old house with uneven flooring) exceptionally well and were responsive in all communication. We felt informed and appreciated the "no surprises" approach to the job. Abraham was able to deal with a number of issues that literally had us asking "Is there anything you can't do? ! " All in all a fantastic experience and we absolutely love our new kitchen. Bloody fantastic! I have used many contractors in the past but the guys at Alpha Renovations are on another level. We had Abraham and his team install a fairly large IKEA kitchen for us. He did a great job and his pricing was very reasonable. As IKEA's cabinets come in set sizes, it is very difficult to make the kitchen fit perfectly. Luckily, Abraham is also a joiner with a keen eye for detail, so during installation, he suggested we return some of the IKEA cabinets and he custom make a few shelves and cabinets so that it all fit perfectly. This turned out to be no more expensive and made all the difference. Abraham was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him without hesitation.

Alpha Renovations undertook the renovation of my bathroom and kitchen splash-back & benchtop. Abraham and his team were brilliant, their attention to detail and timely completion of the work was impressive. I was very happy with all their work and their help in providing me with ideas. No job was too big or too small and the same amount of quality workmanship is applied, I added in the installation of cornices to the original job and this was no problem. They are honest, reliable and fun to work with. I would use them again and highly recommend them.
