Aloomba Lavender reviews
27Neat little farm tucked away in the countryside. The ladies were super friendly. There is space for cramping with electric hookups.
Lovely place beautiful shop on the property scenery amazing well worth a visit friendly people
Great camp ground, flat and grassy. Quite and accomodating host. The firewood overnight for bonfire was provided by the host. No need to worry to bring your fire wood. Delicious fresh scone baked from their cafe. Highly recommended!
This is a lovely little shop, the owner was very sweet and kind. She was a very lovely lady and was very comfortable to talk to and had all the information on the lavander products and how it is made. The prices are reasonable for a home business and I am happy with our purchases. Would recommend if going past.
This was a very special trip for my friend and me. She loves love loves lavender and after this trip, I do too. The greeting was very welcoming and this charming family-run business makes it even more special right down to the farm dogs. Tim came out to let us know all about the varieties of lavender and what they grow and cut us both a bunch to take home. Still have it hanging in my office and it smells beautiful! I will be back again.
Small, local farm run by Terri who will spend time telling you stories and show you her garden if you have time. This is what I imagine slow travel to be about. The place is humble and it is where Terri lives and run this tourism place. She gave us lots of succulents to take away to replant and sat down with us for afternoon devonshire tea. Don't expect the coffee to be bajista style but the scones are really good. Would be better be better jam. You can even camp here on the land for a small fee.
What a lovely surprise this gorgeous farm is! So many wonderful things in the gift shop at sensible prices ️ the lovely Terri showed me beautiful Autumn leaves and allowed me to collect them. Will definitely visit again ️
Disappointed with the place. It needed a good clean and on the day of our visit the Mother had been left in charge, whilst she was lovely she had no idea how to ring up the sale and I ended up showing her how to do it. This place could be so much more!
Wonderful place to visit and have a coffee and a look around the shop. We spent a great time with the host. Highly recommended
We love camping here and go annually. Tim and the team are great. The site is priced well, hot showers are available, fires are allowed. There is allot to see and do in the surrounding area as well.
Great value spot for a camp with 10/10 service. Tim came down to our camp after dark and offered to help light a fire by going and getting some diesel as it was very wet. Top bloke and very welcoming. Beautiful location and lovely facilities for the price
Beautiful location to camp and wake up to. Our campervan got bogged and they (Martin) were incredibly helpful in rescuing us! Much appreciated!
We recently visited with the intent to camp a night or two and while the grounds are beautiful, the area to camp is quite small and feels like someone's side yard to the gift shop. Not a total criticism to the property if you're happy staying close to the property and other campers but we were of the opinion from the information pamphlets you're quite secluded with a decent space. That was not the case. We spoke to the owners who were quite lovely but before we got our dog out of the car, made a comment if the dog chased the cat she would be shot. Joke or not, it left a bad feeling about their attitude to having our dog on the property and we did not feel comfortable staying so we decided not to stay in the end. Not a funny joke to anyone who travels with their dogs who are a huge part of their family. Great property if you don't need a great deal of space or aren't travelling with a dog.
Camping here at Aloomba Lavender Farm. What an absolute gem of a place. Tere (the owner) is such a wonderful host and full of knowledge of the area. The views are spectacular and we (and our fur kids) love the peace and tranqulity this place has! 5!
We checked your website for opening times & arrived at your gate on Friday only to find you closed? Maybe it would be good if you kept your website up to date. We were really disappointed: (
What a fabulous experience we just had. Saw this advertised when we were in Tenterfield and decided to call in on our way back to Brisbane. We could smell the lavender as we drove in the driveway and although we were a week or two early there were still plenty of flowers around. We had a treat of scones, cream and jam, which were superb as was the coffee and the owner and family were so friendly as was Watto the dog. So glad we stopped off here.
Lovely location and the family who run it are very friendly. Had delicious scones and mum even shared her recipe with me!
A great visit to a lovely place which, like all the region, is badly affected by drought. Despite that, the hospitality was faultless. Declicious scones!
A great shop full of all things lavender, and a whole lot more.
Definitely worth the drive over the border to check it out.
Amazing! Loved the coffee and lavender scones. The shop has great lavender selection. Lavender Lady
is lovely!
Lovely tranquil place. Nice gift shop. Lavender scones. Can camp on grounds. Parrots everywhere.
