Allied Pickfords

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with Allied Moving Services. During the process of moving my belongings, their employees managed to damage my stairs, scratch my walls and lounge, and leave trash hidden in the bushes after ordering takeaway. The worst part? They didn't even have the decency to say goodbye or acknowledge the damage they caused. I feel like they deliberately avoided taking responsibility for their actions. Overall, I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by Allied Moving Services and would not recommend them to anyone.

Took a very long time to arrive. Was not to happy that some furniture was damaged. Opened up some boxes and found some glassware broken.

Would not go like this again. Not a very happy, customer from NSW to South Australia.

We moved from Sydney to Wagga with Allied Pickford & from the moment Michael Corbett stepped into our home to quote we were sold. Michael was extremely professional & calm throughout the whole process & was prepared to help at all times even after the job was complete. The boys who came & packed us were efficient & lively, the office staff with Georgia were always friendly & easy to deal with. The quote was very reasonable & the job was completed to our satisfaction. We would use Allied Pickford again & would highly recommend them as a very professional & well run business.

The removalists that packed our belongings were careless, many items were scratched and damaged.
The TV was packed with the sound bar screws against the screen, which left multiple scratches on the screen. There are scratches on the bed frames, on the bike frame & on other cabinets.
They most definitely were NOT “the careful movers”.

From getting a quote to the actual move, the process was made easy. The guys were friendly, patient and helpful. All round, the experience of dealing with Allied Pickford was good. Highly recommended

The service is expensive then we had problems with the team on the ground not wanting to wear their masks. It caused many problems with our building manager. The team in the office and in operations were very professional and great to work with.

The boys were very curtious and eager to explain the process. They patiently sorted and marked all items, loaded the container thoughtfully and stored everything within. It will be several weeks before I can receive my possessions again but I am confident all will be good. I have recommended Allied to my brother and his wife for their upcoming move.

The removalists, Ender & James, were exceptional! They worked tirelessly & were extremely courteous & polite all day. We cannot fault the service in any way & highly recommend Allied!

We have brand new floors and we’re quite worried about them but David, Jason and Ray did a fantastic job. They were so careful with our things and our new renovation. We would definitely use Allied again.

Allied have done an amazing job packing up our house and loading it. Price was great and the service theyve provided has been top notch.

I asked for a quote 21 days ago to move from Sydney to Canada and they can’t seem to get themselves together to even get me a quote. That should be the easiest part of the move! I’ve called, emailed, and they have not responded in a timely manner. They claim to be customer centric. What a joke. I’ve submitted an inventory list and it should be instant. What are they doing over there? !
Update just got my quote 21 days after my request after having 3 people contact them and inquire about my move. And many many emails. This branch needs to have better leadership. The team is falling apart!

Allied assisted with my relocation from QLD to BNE last year including pet and vehicle. The vehicle transport- there was no visual inspection upon handing over the car to Allied. The guys just grabbed and key and loaded the vehicle to the truck. The packing specialist came and repacked all the boxes and didn't use the labels and marks properly. My books and linens were marked as kitchen items. My fridge was dented and I was unsatisfied with the removal services. The destination unloading and assembly person wont put a timer bed together as it was bought as a new item. The driver walked around on the carpet with dirty and dusty shoes and turned up very unprofessionally. He was in a hurry to get back to Gold Coast because he hasn't slept for 3 days he said. Big safety concerns. In the end, I had to hire someone else to assemble the bed and re-assemble the sofa as it was poorly done. I would avoid using Allied if possible.

Great experience with my move from Wollongong to Sydney. Just move no packing assistance. The team did great work (Junior and team), reconnected appliances without me asking. Took great care of everything. No bumps scrapes or drops I can see. Highly recommend.

I chossed Allied because i have done moved my furniture from Dubai to sydney very well last year. But Last week we move in sydney and i had very bad experience for thier service. Not professional removalist, rude team, they didnt wrap, put 60 inch TV on the tv table and then move them together without wrapping, one guy spit on the sink infront me: (, one of them asked me a glasss of Jack danieal during moving!: (they have sent medim track (it was not Allied truck) and we did two round in rainy day.
I paid 1700$ for 3 bedroom furniture and i have got very bad expriance with this team.

Pick up was great, although shame on a business which is using young girls to collect 20+ kg boxes. The transportation was the slowest ever: we were promised max 3 months and were waiting for almost 5 months with constant phone calls to check on where our goods are. No communication from the business itself unless you ask them. At the end we recieved our goods in good condition, but the wait was ensless. Don't deal with Ben from Brisbane office, he doesn't know what communication means.
