35 Currently building with AC. Practical completion done now and it's has been 1 year and 3 months into the build.
Even after the PC, No Aircon has been installed and it's 2 weeks away. Appliances waiting to be installed and hot water has yet to be installed.
Nothing but not constant delays with absolutely no planning in place. When ever you speak to The site supervisor there is one answer, there are other over 20 houses I am building.
Well it really isn't our problem as we are well past our time frame in the contract.
We understand delays and have put up with this for over last few months but this has really being very unprofessional planning to complete the job. They seek no urgency even now when our build could have been completed couple of months ago.
Would I build with AC again. No is my answer.
Plenty of builds around our home in Sydney Blacktown area, who have started after us and owners have moved it.
Steven is absolutely unprofessional, only care about the tender money no service afterwards. Hung up on me. Not sure if they are gonna last long with customer service will go under like the rest of the builders. Will go to fair trading for my money back
Construction was good at first until covid hit, after that we realised brick laying was done poorly, many bugs were entering through holes and windows that weren't sealed properly and many other major defects. Very disappointed with the unprofessional service with our builder/supervisor. They are average but finishing is fairly poor. However some of the other staff in different departments are really nice.
The best and trustworthy builder! I highly recommend this builder to everyone who wants to build their dream house.
We haven’t even begun building yet so I don’t know what other nightmares I will experience
since last year in May I have received at least 8 tenders for quotes on what we had chosen.when at the display home we had said we will take this kitchen these bathroom vanities and bath tub and toilets that were in the display house….
Only to find out when choosing colours, that our kitchen shown to us at the display was NOT the one quoted on the tenders.on the contracts it did not state that we were getting the basic kitchen which was not on show or ever seen.the vanities in the upstairs bedrooms which were under mount were not included no type of vanity was mentioned on the tenders so I assumed that what I saw was what I was getting, The bath tub seen was not the one or any type mentioned on the tender.nor were the toilet bowels.
In fact when I had asked on arrival at the display and asked WHAT DOES THIS HOUSE COST AS IT IS
It was an honest quote or reply……
I have not been able to see any colours or the appliances or flooring in person because of the covid and they don’t have brouchers or samples….
I have to choose blindly …….
AND THEY DO NOT HAVE A WIDE RANGE OF ANYTHING TO CHOOSE FROM
One needs to sign and pay a deposit before one can see any colours or.products
If this isn’t a con I don’t know what else to call it
In my opinion it is best to begin to quote of the house that is on display which would have been at the high level end and THEN work our way down to our budget…knowing what we had deleted……instead I was constantly quoted for the basic lower grade finishes, cont…. April 2020…………. They do not have enough people working for them…. Can take up to 1 to 10 days to have a question answered…if somebody is ill at the office nobody else to look after you…. Sending samples for us to sent to the wrong address…. So I have to wait another another week on top of the two i’ve waited for. I can not afford to look at another constriction company as I am 73 years old. God only knows if I’ll live to see this house started……AND some of the assistants tone of voices sound irate when they do not understand what I’m trying to explain…. I’ll will have spent with them no less than $650 thousand dollars if the house get’s finished,
They need to show what the starting price of their houses on their website. The houses are well finished.
Really bad experience.wasted more than a month. After wasting of more than a month, sales person told me they can’t do my work. Why did you take deposit and told me you will give me knockdown rebuild quote.
Though deposit was refunded, but my 6 weeks were wasted.
Prompt response and very helpful and informative on building. Very honest and upfront on cost of a new build. Highly recommend.
Our internal colours/electrical appointment was a great experience. Lots of excellent advice given. Not once was there any pressure to upgrade. The selections available we all great. Very excited to see our house completed.
Tried calling multiple times today with no avail, they just take your details promising a callback which never happens - probably a good thing I’ve decided not to go with them, represents their lack of customer service & lack of responsiveness in general.
I have been so impressed by Allcastle Homes. The head office colour room is amazing. The staff are really helpful and I look forward to them building us our dream home
Stay away from this builder, there quality is below average and there tapwares, kitchen cabinatery, blinds, painting and gyprock work is below standard.upon asking them to fix it they saying it's out of warranty. DON'T BUY FROM THIS UNPROESSIONAL BUIDER (BIG BRAND WITH NO AFTER SALES SERVICE)
I regret to use this builder, here is my feedback on some points:
- Sales Team knows how to trap customer but poor quality delivery
- Hidden costs, revealed later stages
- Subcontractors like Brick layer and painters delivered the dodgy job.
- Overall inclusions are low quality or outdated products
- Contraction Manager talk and behaves like handy man
Visited their head office today to do external selection.
They are patient and professional.
You MUST GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. We made the unfortunate mistake of trusting and taking the words of the sales person at the display home as gospel. NEGOTIATE EVERYTHING.from the size of the door, the number of lights, power points, even blinds & tiles. DO NOT make the same MISTAKE as we did. Your house will end up costing much more to the displayed price. If they tell you that you cannot include or make those additions until your colour appointments or internal appointments, DO NOT BELIEVE THEM because you can and everything is negotiate at the display home.
Got profiled by Brad at Emerald Hills. He would not let us in without us having a block of land ready to go or a budget. I did not get a video of him the first time but after visiting the other homes we realized that he just didn't want to let us in. I took a video of us speaking to him afterwards and this was his arrogant reaction. Also after the video I saw an Anglo couple who walked straight intothe homes without having to tell him his budget (according to Brad they ask EVERYONE who who comes in). Don't worry I'll post the link of the video.
We are still in finalising contract stage. Luckily, we had Brad Miller helping with initial design and consulting. He has been very patient to my picky requirements and long delayed registration process. He carefully advised the best solution in balancing cost and values. We've also done first session for exterior colouring and some other amendments in head office. Justin and another lady helped me through lots detailed and quickly made other amendments I requested, very smooth process. They are always responsive to my phone calls, SMS and emails. I already referred my friend to go with them. Looking forward extending my so far so good experience to next stage, building, yeah. Will keep update my experience here.
My overall experience with All Castle was Good. I had some issues which were resolved by Management and Mr. Darly Singh. Daryl from sales is very helpful and will always do his extra bit to help you. The quality of the display homes is good and I would recommend All Castle homes
No integrity at all. Think twice before placing deposit as they change building plan after you pay deposit and push you to pay more to build what you were promised for initially. Waste of time and missed other good deals because of their dishonesty. Fair Trading website has their name in defaulter list as well.
