Alchemy on Victoria reviews
77I was a regular at One Thai in Dubbo cbd and the food was always outstanding. Today is my second visit since they moved out to share the Alchemy Cafe site. The food is just as good, friendly service but unlicensed (bottle shop across the road). I will return. Still the best Thai in Dubbo. The spicy whole snapper is a standout.
Delicious vege dish, fresh and tasty, nice latte and pecan tart.hmmm. Great rocky background music, personal atmosphere and friendly service. Don't miss out!
Loved this breakfast menu. It was really hard to decide what to have with so many good options.
Terrible quality and portions of food. Staff didn’t do anything to fix the issues. Very average coffee too. Will not go back. Chicken wrap had three small pieces of chicken. Paying $20 for a wrap with lettuce basically. Disappointing.
Got into Dubbo after 2pm. The club kitchens were closed but this place was opened so popped in. Had the Thai fried rice with chicken which was tasty. I was on a deadline to get to Cobar before check in closed so I inhaled it and left. Would happily eat here again if I am ever in Dubbo again.
Nice restaurant, the Thai food was really nice.
Not impressed that I had to pay for our wine glasses as it's a byo and we had a bottle of our own wine
Also the flies were really bad spent the night brushing the flies away from our dinner
Have been several times to Alchemy for breakfast and lunches and can't wait to go again. Thai and Australian meals delicious, atmosphere excellent and staff first class.
Friendly, helpful staff. Good food. Lovely outdoor dining area. Accommodated gluten free requests.
We went out of town and looked for Thai food but we're disappointed.
The outdoor atmosphere is pretty, a lot of plants around; the staffs are nice; good presentation of the entrée.
However, the quality of the food just so so. Not as expected, especially the main course. The curry and soup were watery, mild flavour, the mushrooms still raw and the proportion was small if compared to the price. We ordered sticky rice, it was tiny and wrapped with plastic so we asked to change for steam rice.
I've been to Thailand and know what should Thai food taste like. I don't recommend if you're looking for amazing Thai food. But if you want to have a chat with your friends with snacks, it can be an option.
It was really cold and it's mainly outside dining. Would be amazing in summer. Had the best mussaman curry ever!
Ordered from table online, waited an hour watched as others got meals to find out they never started the order. Very poor service
We had lunch Thai Green Curry and Rice and Banana split ice-cream. Loved the taste of food. Loved the music and the hospitality was superb. Thanks. Will definitely visit again.
Place in Dubbo where you can get a really good coffee even after 5pm (I got mine at 5: 30pm) what a surprise.
Thai dinner is also amazing, a big serving to fill your appetite.
Over priced.
The fried rice was very oily and rice wasn’t cooked properly. Ordered lamb red curry as well which was also half cooked.
I came here on a quiet, rainy Tuesday night and wasn’t sure what to expect. Well, the veggie green curry and Riesling that I ordered where exactly what I was looking for. Freshly cooked, perfect level of spice, delicious and delicate flavour. This place is more than meets the eye!
Beautiful place to start with and a perfect place to have f&f sessions. What a perfect and juicy steak we enjoyed for a cheapest price on a Thursday. 10/10 for the service and the place is worth giving a try. Came all the way from Sydney and very happy to find this little refreshing place.
One of the few cafes open on a public holiday. The food was very average and not very tasty - I do not recommend the fish and chips and the salad had very wilted spinach and lettuce.
If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion like Mother's Day forget this place. Arriving at 10: 30 for brunch, we had to wait 15min for our table. That was ok seeing it was a busy day. We then had to wait 90 mins for our meal, which took us through to the lunchtime patrons coming in. During the wait for our food we found out the restaurant was busy filling MenuLog orders, hence the delay of looking after their hungry restaurant customers.
We won't be going back again.
Had a wonderful lunch yesterday & coffees this morning Fantastic coffee hot!
Great service, friendly staff helpful, meals can prompt & delicious
