Being our first importing transaction we are extremely grateful for the assistance and efforts of AirSea Worldwide without whom we would have struggled with the procedure.
They were polite, courteous, totally knowledgeable and completely efficient throughout the entire process.

I imported for the first time and being a new importer approached Air Sea to import our shipment.

I advised them on engagement that this was my first shipment and that I would need guidance. Michael assured me that shipment would be in the best hands and he will save me some cost knowing the regulations.

As it got close to the arrival of the ship Michael started to develop a temper and kept getting angry at any simple questions I was asking about what sounded contradictory and was evading the answer.

He then mentioned to me that custom release time is unpredictable which would make sense and then mentioned that we have to move the container as soon as custom releases the container or it would cost me 800$ a day and asked me to have a removalist who is flexible to take the container with maximum 24 hrs of notice which was an impossible task as most delivery places needed 2-3 days notice. Then he suggested to deliver the container to a container yard and then deliver it to the delivery place which would cost me about 3000$.

I ask him if there is any other possible solution and he said no. As it sounded not too right I decided to call around and found national storage which would hold you container for 100$ a day so it would cost me a few hundred $ rather than 3000$ and when I mentioned to him he started yelling and saying now that your address has changed I need 3 days to rearrange a delivery and I still have to put the container in the container yard which would still cost me around 2500$ so I confronted him that what he says make no sense and then he said that he will not deliver my container and refused to return the delivery cost that he charged me so I called the port and then realized that I have 3 free days to deliver the container which Michelle didn’t tell me about to charge me the 300$ extra for making the situation urgent.

Unfortunately this is being totally dishonest and trying take advantage of the customers with no prior experience is disgusting.

He has an extremely poor set of customer service skills and the nice persona is gone as soon as you sign the form and pay him.

All in all a very bad experience - if there was a way to give zero stars I would.

I could not recommend more highly. Michael from Airsea world wide is highly professional and capable agent who helped me every step of the way! I look towards to my next import and and can rest assured the process shall go smoothly. I'm truly grateful.

Its the first time I have tried importing a few good from overseas and felt quite overwhelmed by the process and documentation needed when the cargo arrives in Australia, but Airsea Worldwide Pty Ltd made the whole process very easy for me.
