Aikido Yoshinkai NSW reviews
7There were questions asked that didn't have anything to do with aikido. I'm still grateful to have learnt a few things. Thank you
There is nothing negative or even median to say about this Dojo.
Having wanted to do Aikido all my life, I never found a dojo and a sensei like the one you find at Aikido Yoshinkai NSW.
Facilities are just great. Clean and safe.
All instructors are not only highly knowledgable, but understand each individual that goes there to train and allow them to explore and learn for their own expectations of the art. They cater for everyone
Also, the kids are always happy and seem to have heaps of fun there while seamlessly being taught the art.
Having done several martial arts over the years, my only regret is not finding this dojo sooner!
First and foremost, this is a practical form of Aikido with real-world applications. The teaching is top notch (Darren and Peggy sensei's endless patience still astonishes me) and the environment is collaborative, where students and teachers all work together for the betterment of all.
It's by far and away the most challenging martial art I've studied, but is more rewarding than any other and has changed the way I go about things in day to day life.
The dojo offers a friendly, supportive atmosphere for people of all ages to learn some practical self defense skills. Along the way you also get to improve your fitness, strength and flexibility. I can thoroughly recommend it.
My daughter attended this dojo for almost 3 years. Unfortunately we relocated to the Central Coast and can't attend anymore. That's why I want to leave my message.
I only have high praises to give the Aikido Yoshinkai NSW dojo.
Darren Sensei and his team are terrific with kids. They incorporate so much fun activities in each class that the kids don't feel overwhelmed and bored during the learning process of Aikido. Peggy Sensei has a special ability when it comes to more active kids such as my daughter. Can't talk highly enough of all of them. Also, a thank you shout out to Gretchen Sensei and her patience.
I wouldn't recommend any other dojo for learning Aikido. Not only it's the correct Aikido style for our daughter, but they are just a FANTASTIC hub for spreading the Yoshinkan style of Aikido. Yoshinkan Federation must be proud.
Keep up the good work and all the best for the future.

Authentic Aikido training at its best! My journey started 10 years ago and I am only at the beginning.
