We were a group of seven and we really enjoyed our visit! The food was delicious, good portions, and the staff were very friendly. Great vegetarian options too

We had a beautiful evening here recently. We wanted to take two special people out for dinner, and chose Ahgora based on reviews. It absolutely lived up to reputation, from the warm greeting, to the delicious food (with good vegetarian options) and thoughtful hospitality.

Love this place, especially the courtyard. The Moussaka and Haloumi are my favourites - but everything is great. Wonderful for sharing a meal with friends. We keep coming back.

Blew us away! Every dish was sensational, great serving sizes and so reasonably priced! Must have dishes were the Charred Octopus and prawn with corn puree. Will definitely return here again and is my new favourite place to recommend.

Food was okay, dessert was great. The wait staff checked on us one too many times to the point it got a little annoying. There was plenty of empty tables so we didn’t overstay but it was over the top.

Such a wonderful place and atmosphere with low and ambient music in the background.
They have cosy sittings outside on terase, inside, or in the garden.
Staff was exceptionally friendly and kind to all their guests and very attentive.
We had group of 30 people (reserved) and food was fresh, on time and well presented.
Meal options from brunch, lunch to 5 course banquet, that will satisfy any vegan, vegetarian, GF or meat lover. You can finish your meal with a homemade cakes.

I had lunch at Ahgora today, a restaurant that offers an authentic and delicious dining experience for those who love Greek food. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the service was excellent. We started with a mezze platter and enjoyed the spanakopita and ricotta ravioli for our main course. However, the standout dish was the slow-roasted lamb shoulder, served with a rich and flavorful sauce. I highly recommend Ahgora for a taste of Greece!

My friends and I had a great lunch at Ahgora recently! Everything we ordered was better than the last. They even gave us some halloumi on the house! Must tries are the gnocchi and ravioli.

Food was OK, not bad but not the best either. Went during lunch and there was only one wait staff for the entire restaurant so there was a lot of waiting time as she was rushing out food and trying to balance taking orders and odd requests on the side.

The menus are also sneaky in that they turn the banquet page around so you don't see it as an option. When I mentioned to the waitstaff that I saw a banquet option online, she seemed annoyed that I asked for it but allowed us to order it in the end.

Wouldn't go back as the food wasn't amazingly mind blowing but not a terrible experience overall.

Food here absolutely blown my mind! 7 of us here last night enjoyed every dishes from the banquet menu as well as cocktails and red wine. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back with my family. Especially my son, a Chef to be.

My friends and I had the banquet for my birthday and it was delicious from start to finish. The flavours were well balanced, portions were generous, time was allowed to digest between courses.and the service was fantastic. All set In a gorgeous heritage building. It was a risk as I had never been before and it definitely paid off. Will be returning again. The octopus was a standout for me. Perfectly cooked with a scrumptious sauce. Thank you!

Exceptional food, cocktails and service. Every plate was unique and exceeded expectations. We are Glebe locals and this is the best food we've had in Glebe / Forest Lodge since we moved here 18 months ago. Highly recommend.
