I normally put positive reviews and tend to keep silent about dodgy businesses, but I will make this an exception. I purchased a bed frame on 15/12/24 via MyDeal.with a delivery period of 3-7 business days. I received the confirmation of my purchase on the same day, plus the invoice of the transaction. I then received another email that the item had been dispatched on 19/12/23. I understand that the order could be delayed as I ordered close to Christmas, but I chose not to contact the business up until the New Year. I contacted the business on the 3/1/24 as there was no tracking number provided, and I can not really see where my order is. I did not receive a reply until I escalated to MyDeal. I then received a reply from the seller to say that logistics was not back until 8/1/24 and I should receive correspondence to tell me when my item will be dispatched (this did not happen as well) which is not consistent to the email I have previously received, which in case they lied to me on the 1st email. Reported to ACCC and NSW Fair Trading.
I also question some of the reviews in here. Most of the positive reviews seem to be coming from 1 review people and have a template of what they are saying. I wonder?

UPDATE!
I have finally received my bed on the 19/1/24. I have to say that putting up the bed was more complicated than I had expected, and it did not help that the instruction was not organised correctly and very confusing. Anyway, the important part is I have the bed now.

I am also going to refute the response
1. My number issue was there was poor comms from the company regarding my order. I made it clear that I understood the time constraints of the Christmas break and I did not even send any comms at that time. When I asked for an update 2x, I did not receive and update from the company up until I escalated it to the 3rd party vendor MyDeal. What I needed was the date of delivery.
2. MyDeal has been providing me with updates from 8-11Jan that they have been trying to get in contact with the company and they did not receive any updates which again goes back to my number 1 issue which was comms.
3. I DID NOT INITIATE THE CONVERSATION ABOUT A DISCOUNT OR COMPENSATION. Somebody from the company sent me a text on the 13/1/24 at 10 PM because I posted a negative feedback on their Facebook page. The person asked if I can talk to them, in which I politely said "NO, I don't want to talk" as it was late and I don't really want to feel annoyed when I am about to sleep. BUT THAT PERSON STILL CALLED ME, even when I said no. The following day, that person called me again, and I declined, requesting for a text instead (for documentation purposes). The person told me that I have options either have the bed delivered on 15/1/24 at an expedited fee on their expense or have it delivered on 19/1/24. THEY ALSO OFFERED ME 10% DISCOUNT AND AN $80 VOUCHER IN EXCHANGE FOR REMOVING MY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. I did NOT decline but I negotiated for a 20% discount instead as I don't have a use for the $80 voucher as I HAVE NO PLANS OF PURCHASING from them again. The person said no they can only give up to 10% discount with me having to remove the negative comment. I said no thanks, and changed the value to 12%. I HAVE THE TEXT MESSAGES THAT I CAN TAKE A SCREENSHOT AND UPLOAD as proof.
4. Not once did I show any behaviour that would be considered rude or demeaning to anyone. The person who was in contact with me requested for me to talk and I said NO. I did not say or do anything to anyone that would be considered rude. What I can say is that in the text exchange that I had with the person, it was more about THE REPUTATION OF THE COMPANY rather than my issue. There was no mention of their comms issue. Read the negative comments and the company should see that the common ground is comms. NOBODY is answering calls, and not responsive with email. UNTIL YOU POST A NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.
I don't need to get in contact with the company, you guys have my info already. I am not very confident in sending comms to you guys anyway because it's your weakest link.

Today we came to Agape under the recommendation of my friend. It is really a good place for furniture shopping. Knowledgeable sales provide me a huge help when I decide on the colour and design. Will absolutely recommend to my families and friends

Dangerous design flaw and dismal, disgraceful customer service. We purchased the Elsa dining table online not realising that the photography was deliberately deceptive and only showed the table from one side, concealing the painfully sharp metal edges of the base that immediately caused leg injuries after it was assembled.
The customer service representative, Shidong constantly denied and contradicted his own claims and ours. Refusing to take responsibility for the dangerous design and informing us that we will be charged up to 70% of the cost of the table in fees if it was returned.
Stay safe by staying clear of this unethical store.

I purchased tables and chairs for my new home. Prior to ordering, the service was very helpful, and the delivery was quite promptly following our order, with plenty of correct information on date and time. The furniture's quality is excellent, and my family is pleased with it. We'll return for more.

We receive the furniture we bought was very factastic. Also it's well fit our place and the quality is high, strong, and long-lasting. Customer service was excellent in every way, specially when it came to enquiry and delivery. We were very pleased with the speed of delivery. Overall, excellent service from beginning to end.

Bought majority of our furniture at Agape Furniture for our new home. I have to say after visiting multiple furniture stores, Allen's service was exceptional, and that is from helping to select the right products to the home delivery. Allen without putting any sort of pressure on us, at the same time has given us so many advices on how we could make our a new home a better place. I referred Allen to many of my friends and they had the same feedback, I strongly recommend Agape Furniture!

This is the first time I bought the furniture without seen and touch. To be honest, i was a little bit nervous. But when I receive it, i was so shocked and so happy. The cubba bed is really good, I like it sooooo much! Also, I have recommend to my friend.

We purchased ten chairs from agape furniture last month. The Order was completed swiftly and easily. Lora then called to confirm the delivery date, which was earlier than I had expected. The delivery driver arrived on schedule and was willing to help me offload the chairs. Excellent service and really pleasant people to deal with.
