Before attending this event, I thought the three “Rs” in life were simply regret, ridicule and retribution! Now I not only know what they really are, but I understand the importance of debriefing and root cause analysis. A really interesting and interactive training program. Great experience with the Afterburner team at our Team event today! Definitely a new perspective on work and life through the use of some fighter pilots tools.

I learnt a huge amount about how to continuously learn from deficiencies, shortcomings and errors in tasks my team undertake at work. By applying the "debrief" principles taught by the afterburner team I will no doubt improve not only my personal work output, but also my team's.

Thanks to SLASH for sharing his experience with Tetra Pak Service Team, he has provided us with some valuable tools on how to improve our performance.

Good presntation material executed by a well drilled team.

I will incorporate a 'debrief' at the end of every meeting. I plan on taking the last 5 mins to capture the meeting effectiveness, discuss how we can do it better next time and agree meeting effectiveness actiones and due dates. This is in addition to the meeting minutes and specific actions.

It was an amazing experience very applicable to our workplace. The FLEX model is easy to use.
We already have learnt a lot about communication from the airforce like our ISBAR handover process now we can adapt FLEX to our perioperative environment and we will be a better organisation for it. Great work Booger and Fuze
