Shocking service and don’t take your car there for any transmission work.
Transmission overhaul with half the job done. Advised that the transmission drum and valve body was replaced. Car broke down within 1 week and had no intentions to pick up my car with a tow truck. Took the vehicle to another shop and it still had the original valve body.
Needed to pay another transmission service department to fix my car. Also, received an infringement for speeding in my car 92 km/h in a 80 zone. Tool 12 phone calls and 1 month to be provided with the drivers details. Car was driven 15 klms from west Ryde.

Never again. Please look elsewhere for your repairs

Shonks took my money and sold business straight after, $1735.00. Remove valve body / solenoid assembly & repair - complete with new T. C. C. S & AWD solenoids.

Took my car to Subaru for standard service 3 months on, who then informed me there was a leak coming from the cvt top cover, transmission valve body cover and needed to be resealed and replaced. Est. $500+

Leaving this here for the shame of it.

Very responsible repairer! I thought my car has a problem of gear box but was problem of the battery, they drove my car to the proper repairer without charge me at all! Definitely will go back to them if I need in future!

Had a transmission problem with Nissan Dualis. Rob diagnosed it in two mins, luckily it was not a big problem, issue with the mounts. Fixed it next day and the car drive pretty smooth now.

Towed a Subaru XV here following some gearbox issues. Not only did Subaru themselves wrongly diagnose the issue but they stated it would take weeks to fix. Advanced Auto were communicative and saved us a good $4k from what we were originally quoted and took only four days.

I took my car with a transmission issue here, they diagnosed my issue, and told me to contact the car manufacturer as it was an issue with my model of car.
They’re knowledgeable and honest, and I would recommend anyone else with transmission issues take their car to these guys!

Half the time it says the phone has been disconnected when trying to find out when i can pick my car up. Since the car had the 1st Transmission rebuild (told them what power it was making and to build it to suit told not a problem.) (took 3 weeks) i have had to take it back two day's later after the selector shaft randomly fell off (had to be towed ($600+ later out of pocket) Then second time under warranty the transmission failed after inspection i was told planetary gear had failed causing 1st and reverse to completely lock up due to blockage in the transmission cooler witch i was to believe should have been looked into at the orignal rebuild of the transmission when asked what could be done to prevent this issue i was told add a external transmission cooler witch i said ok lets do it all to be told on collection sorry we didn't fit it here's your keys good bye (took 3 weeks) and to this moment right now it has failed again with in less the 200 km of driving and under 10 hours use, looks like no car over Xmas not happy at all
