I had my roof inspected this month due to a leak caused by heavy rain. The company provided me with three quotes, and during the quote session, their director, Adam, mentioned that option 1 in the quote would fix the leak. He said that paying $1300 in cash would resolve the issue. However, after they fixed the roof, the leak persisted. I'm extremely disappointed with their service. When I reached out to them, they suggested doing additional tests but at an extra cost. I would never recommend this company to anyone because they are scammers who take money without resolving the issue. So be aware.

Replaced the existing tile roof on our granny flat with new colourbond metal roof.
Work was of the highest standard, the old roof was off and the new colourbond roof was on the same day.
The whole process from quoting to finish job was very professional and all time schedules were adhered to.
The office staff were very helpful and the trades staff on the job were also very helpful and friendly.

Guys came and repaired a poor excuse of a roof. Returned phone calls, showed up on time, did a quality job, couldn't finish it all in a day (due to bad weather) but came back the next day and finished up. Great job

We had Adko attend after one of the most recent storms and they were nothing short of fantastic! We had contacted two other roofing companies prior to this both of which didn’t even turn up. Adko were prompt, professional and resolved our water leak with their first attempt at repairs. I will definitely be recommending Adko to friends and family

Similar experience to others here. A thorough job was not done. The very young man doing the quote missed key problems that were pointed out to him. For the work that was done, none of the employees cleaned up the minimal amount of mess that was involved in the job and twice left rubbish on the footpath out the front of the house. Any communication with Daniel was highly unimpressive. No apologies for problems raised and an all over impression that this guy thinks the world owes him a living (including the fact that he was more concerned about copping a poor review for the poor service than looking after the customer). A couple of grand later and the leaks were still there, causing further damage to the walls inside the house. Daniel then tried to mince words about why they were called there for roof maintenance and was completely dishonest in his response (refusing to admit that an obvious problem, that should have been covered in the inspection, had not been noted and dealt with). I recommend avoiding this company.

ROOFING REVIEW

I love to give good reviews and this guy seemed nice enough so it's unfortunate that this is a bad review. Arrived later than I was expecting him. He said it was going to be just him doing the job and before I knew it I had another contractor chatting with him in my backyard which is very unprofessional as this is my house and I should have been made aware of all contractors that would be on my property prior to the commencement of the job. They did the job but I'm not happy with the overall service. Too expensive compared to the work and quality of the service and I had to sweep my backyard up again as they didn't clean all the debris that came off the roof and gutters.

I'm grateful for all the work they did but just not happy with the quality of service unfortunately. I'm happy to fork out money for job well done but I'll be shopping around next time I need any future work done on my roof. I don't know maybe paying almost $1500 is normal for the work that they did but it seems steep to me considering all things.

I requested a quote from ADKO around the 22nd of March. The earliest available time someone could come out was on 1 April 2021 which was understandable with all the rain over the last few weeks.

Basically we needed a drain installed next to one side of the house and connect it to existing storm drains. Nothing complex at all.

Adko sent a technician on the 1st of April who come out to provide the quote. The person they sent wasn't quite sure of what needed to be done in terms of the drain or where to put it or how much it was going to cost. He looked extremely junior and seemed quite unsure about the job. He said he needed to chat to his boss and can't provide a quote on the spot which reaffirmed my suspicions about his experience. All good and well and he then left our house.

5 minutes after he left I get a call from him. He asked me if I was the owner of (and then mentioned my address). I said yes and he then went on explaining he was just out there with the tenant and the one gutter is completely blocked and looks like plants are growing in it and this and that about the roof.

I stopped him and mentioned I'm quite unsure what he is referring to as he spoke to me and not a tenant and we didn't even discuss gutters or the roof - my issue was a drain that had to be installed. He apologised for the mix up and said he must have phoned the wrong client. That was the last I heard from Adko.

Today (the 6th of April) I had not heard anything and had not received the quote. I followed up with Adko via text (i.e. Sent Biancca a text at 9.27am) to mention I'm still waiting for my quote. At 10.26am I received an email with a quote from Adko.

Lo and behold I was then quoted for cleaning my gutters and repointing my roof. I phoned Biannca straight away at 10: 29am and explained this again i.e. That I had a drain to be installed and the technician mixed up the address again. The 2nd time. I had told him on the 1st of April already he had it wrong. Despite this he then went ahead and got the quote wrong too.

It's 4.37pm and I still have not received anything after my phone call to Biannca this morning. Not a phone call back from her or a quote. The email with the initial wrong quote came from Daniel Kepreotes - Director of Adko. His number is in the email signature which I also tried to call. It just rings and then that's the end of that too. No message bank to leave a voicemail or phone calls returned.

Seems like a great waste of time trying to engage this company. Wouldn't you try and sort this out for a client straight away after they phone you and explain this is not the first but the 2nd time your company got it wrong?

Does it take another day or two to merely phone the person that made the error and ask them to correct it? I would not recommend Adko based on my experience so far - great waste of time.
