AdiYoga reviews
41My experience was tremendous. After the two day workshop l have found an enormous change in my mind and body. I have been walking faster, in touch with my breath and found self growth. I commit to practising at home and returning to see Rami in the studio for correction as practise makes perfect.
Adiyoga is great as it incorporates spirituality in the practice. The atmosphere in the place is so calm and the teachers are of high calibre. I would greatly recommend it especially for anyone seeking some sense of spirituality in their life.
Great studio with a talented instructor. Definitely recommending to all my yoga loving friends!? ️
I just finished asurya Kriya course in AdiYoga and I would totally recommend it. Brings yoga practice to the next level. I can't wait to see where this journey will take me. Good luck guys.
I completed a 2 day course in Surya Kriya at AdiYoga today. The course was excellent. The teacher Will was very detailed with his instructions and also a very caring guy who took time to answer all questions thoughtfully. I've done yoga before but not for a long time, but I've never done anything as detailed as the course I just attended. I left the 2 days with enough practical experience to commence my personal practice but I am also looking forward to attending the centre once or twice a week for group sessions. I loved my time at AdiYoga so far and would happily give 6 starts as a review if it were allowed. I recommend AdiYoga to everyone.
My journey with Isha started in 2018 when I came across a video interview of Sadhguru. I had a comfortable life and wasn’t really looking to change anything. But boredom and the question ‘what is next’ or ‘what is more’ in life had started creeping up. Life was going in circles, work 9am to 5pm, live weekend to weekend, binge watching netflix, socialise and repeat.
So, listening to Sadhguru speak about life with such clarity and logic had caught my attention. Soon after, I did the Inner Engineering program in Sydney, which gave me the much needed clarity in life.
In 2019, Sadhguru visited Australia and I had volunteered for his program. At the end of the program, I somehow knew that I wanted to become a Yoga teacher and when I found out that Isha foundation offered the Hatha Yoga teacher training, I knew that’s the one I wanted to do. Even after applying and being accepted for the training, the year being 2020, it was difficult to travel across countries for the training and I had to wait another year.
During this 1 year, I learnt Angmardana, Surya Kriya and Bhutta Shuddhi from Ramy Zach at AdiYoga. The practices were taught with great precision and I felt confident of practicing on my own after the workshops. I went back for a few correction sessions which always helped to improve my practices. Ramy also gave me the opportunity to become a demo person for a few of his classes which were again great learning experiences.
Finally in 2021, I was able to go for the Isha Hatha Yoga teacher training program in Coimbatore. I went there to just change me career from working in a software company to becoming a yoga teacher. Not knowing that the training would end up being a life transforming process and leave a deep impact on the way I experience everything. The sheer intensity of the training helped me break through many limitations, feeling almost super-human at times. It’s been a journey of self-reflection and discovery ever since. But there is always a sense of balance and calm in the background.
Classical Hatha Yoga is the best kind of yoga and AdiYoga is the best place to learn it.
It has completely transformed me and my life for the better.
Amazing experience. Did the two day program for Surya Kriya and it was taught well. Will is awesome and understanding. Positive experience and will be back
This is an amzing space that can truly change how you live. I highly recommend trying the programs on offfer!
I have attended couple of programs here and Ramy is an excellent instructor. The studio has a nice vibe and is spacious too.
Ramy and Will are excellent teachers. I have done Angamardana and Yogasana. Both the courses were amazing to say the least. The atmosphere in the Yoga Studio is Blissful. Will definitely be a regular customer. Great job guys.
A very special space, you feel it the moment you enter.
I just completed the Angarmardana course, led by William. He was great and very approachable. The postures begin working on your strength and flexibility right away.
After the class I went for a walk and saw two yellow tailed black cockatoos soaring in the mist. The sight of these majestic creatures filled me with joy, I laughed and cried (just a little and not in a crazy way ;).
After mere hours of doing this practice I was opened up to this sort of experience.
I am excited to continue!
thank you.
Great place to get started in yoga, has a very tradtional and naturally designed environment inside, where you can experience yoga in a fragrant atmosphere, while it gives a soothing effect on the mind. The instructors there are also well trained to give a deeper learning experience for the practice of yoga, without any physical contact, a definite place to go during these times of social distancing, for a good activity. Their casual free class are real great, for beginners to get a good understanding for what they are about!
It’s a very nice place where you can easily feel a good energy. I’ve took the Surya Kriya program and it was very nice the way that it was given to us. Now I have to do my own practice but I can ask to the teacher about any question that I could have later so the support afterwards is also good. Thank you so much for all the guidance and wisdom that you have shared with us. I’m looking forward to attending another course in Adiyoga.
Feeling blessed to have started my journey with Ramy who teaches the complete dimensions of Hatha yoga. This place is filled with peace, love and joy.
I came across Adiyoga from Isha website. Enrolled myself for Yogasanas - Yogic Postures, a weekend course. I was worried, if i will be able to do the postures properly. With Ramy guidance I built the confidence. Now I have to do my own practice and I can ask the teacher if i have any question later on. Thank you so much Ramy for all the guidance and knowledge that you have shared with us. I would definitely recommend this programme to everyone i know.
Fantastic. Yoga offered in its purest form. Incredibly transformative and a wonderful space with great people.
Adiyoga - Newtown is a great place to deepen the knowledge and practice of yoga on every level.
A perfect environment for yoga led by Ramy Zach.
I would highly recommend this amazing place to everyone.
Ramy Zach is such a devoted and dedicated teacher with years of experience and knowledge. Forget all your preconceived notions about yoga and try hatha yoga here - in its purest form. I've just completed the Surya Kriya workshop and cannot wait to start my own journey and develop a deeper practice.
If you have been looking for a method of transforming yourself into a happier, calmer and more energised person, there is no better place to start than Adiyoga. The studio space and teachers are amazing. If you have learnt Isha practices before, this is a great place to connect with others and inspire your practices.
