Ryan wood is a master of hes craft. Had a few reservations about going to an acupuncturist but I tried everything for 7months from doctors to chiropractor to physiotherapy. Had a sore hip to the point I couldn't walk properly couldn't sleep on that side I'd wake up in pain. Found it very difficult to get in and out of car and my leg felt so heavy.
After ONLY ONE visit to Ryan I instantly had relief at least 80% of my pain was gone. Iv had another visit and can not believe the amazing results. I

Ryan is fantastic, and really knows his stuff. I first went to him with severe neck pain that I woke up with one day - I could barley even turn my head, and any movement felt like an electric shock. First treatment alone made a massive difference. He has since treated me for lower back/hip pain, tennis elbow and shoulder complaints. Each treatment has given me instant (or near instant) improvement. I used to have doubts about the efficacy of acupuncture, but the proof is in the pudding, and I am now an advocate for, and regular receiver of, "getting needled".
Ryan himself is very professional, well presented and knowledgable - able to explain my issues in layman's terms so I can understand better.
If you need (or are thinking of getting) acupuncture, I cannot recommend the Acupuncture and Wellness centre in Forster highly enough. You won't regret it.

The first time I visited Ryan Wood must have been approx 7 years ago. I was diagnosed with a frozen shoulder (couldn't move my arm at all) and the specialist was talking about operation/ cortisone injections. But instead I thought what do I have to loose and try acupuncture. Ryan "saved the day" then and still does now. When I have any issues with my back /neck like pinched nerve he has never let me down. Also with the Chinese herbs instead of medication from the pharmacy he offered a lot of relief and fixing the problem in a short time. Years ago I didn't think too much about acupuncture but now I wonder why not more GP's are recommending acupuncture.

I’ve been visiting the Forster region with my husband and our two children under the age of two. At 3am I woke up with very severe neck pain, and I was unable to take anti-inflammatory medication due to breastfeeding.

I found Ryan’s clinic through a Google search and I was immediately impressed by the website and the receptionist’s friendly and efficient manner when I called to make an appointment. Upon arrival at the clinic I noticed it was clean and calming, and Ryan made a positive first impression when he introduced himself.

Ryan diagnosed me with a posterior scalene strain and treated me with a combination of massage, acupuncture and herbs. To my complete astonishment, Ryan’s amazing treatment has enabled me to continue breastfeeding my 13 week old baby and pack the car for our departure tomorrow morning. These tasks would have been impossibly agonising without Ryan’s expertise.

Despite being a health professional, I’ve frequently found myself second-guessing doctors by choosing not to take medication that they have prescribed. In contrast, I am highly motivated to follow Ryan’s follow up instructions precisely, not only because my treatment options are limited and the neck pain was so debilitating. I felt complete trust in the excellent care that Ryan provided, without any hint of arrogance.

If I developed another musculoskeletal problem, I would genuinely consider driving 3.5 hours from my home in Sydney to see Ryan again.
