I have seen Cameron a number of times. He always takes the time before the appointment to inform himself of the referral information (including physiological issues and if necessary discussion with the referring GP or Specialist). He listens carefully and explains what the issues are and his proposed therapy.
I have great confidence in discussing issues with Cameron and his skill and knowledge set. Highly recommended.

What stands out to me is the superficial tone of the reply (clearly not personal and most likely Chat-GPT or AI-generated with American spelling). There is a pedantic focus (e.g. "NO-SHOW" versus "late cancellation") that fails to address the real concerns. Most importantly, there is no recognition of the suffering and destruction of consistency in patient care and trust that the punitive and humiliating reactions by the principal physio caused.

It is important to point out that the "no show" was because of a genuine emergency, which the principal physio was informed about as soon as possible.

However, the principal physio appears to not show discretion as stated below and recommended by the regulators and associations. He simply cancels all future appointments for patients without informing them prior to that of this alleged 'policy', which other patients have confirmed. These patients tolerate it because they are desperate for care and waiting for other appointments with other physios is extremely disruptive. It is not a willing acceptance and there is a growing disrespect for this excessively punitive 'policy', from what I understand from other patients.

In my case, this principal physio also pressured me on the phone to pay the full fee for the missed appointment (even walking to their reception with me on the phone to make sure I pay like some criminal), which was a condition for him giving me another appointment the week after that. This reminded me of some authoritarian primary school for naughty boys. I felt discriminated against and humiliated by this business.

This type of treatment between adults occurs in dystopian, authoritarian countries - not in respectful and civil societies, where allied health professionals understand patient care and value their relationships.

It is important to point out that this issue was discussed directly with the business and principal physio prior to any feedbacks on Google. Judging by the written response, this seems to have fallen on stubborn ears. This followed my discussions with regulators and affiliated associations to ascertain what is reasonable and fair in the circumstances by other physiotherapy providers in NSW.

My partner was also referred to this provider. But after receiving no contact from them for weeks, and hearing about their treatment of patients with their alleged 'policy', there is no desire to be treated by this provider.

In conclusion, I would most certainly never recommend this practice to anyone in my network on the Northern Beaches.

Very skilled team but alarming attitudes towards patient care. If you have a legitimate emergency and happen to skip an appointment without the prescribed 48 hour cancellation period (not possible during legitimate emergencies), expect to be punished without compassion. This is not only limited to being charged the full private fee (despite no service having been rendered), but you will also be punished by having ALL FUTURE APPOINTMENTS CANCELLED and placed at the bottom of the appointment priority list — regardless of how serious your issue is and the degree of pain you are in. The focus is on financial losses and gains for the practice, enforced through punitive, totalitarian-style tactics, exploiting the dependency of patients for regular therapy — instead of reasonable measures that place the care needs of the patient in the forefront. Nowhere on their website or communicated terms is this punitive approach mentioned, despite being referred to by the team. Very disappointed with this attitude and treatment, the destruction of trust, respect and the relationship by the therapist, and especially in the case of those needing urgent care in a safe and respectful environment.

I have been seeing Cam at active Rehab Physiotherapy for both a shoulder injury and a long term running injury and I can say without a doubt he works wonders. A confident, well organised and caring professional Cam has achieved truly amazing results. I can definitely recommend Active Rehab, I was completely blocked with my back and was really struggling walking. After few treatments with Cameron I was able to get my mobility back and even return to play tennis within few weeks. Beside the immediate treatments, Cam has also planned targeted exercises for me that are easy to remember and can be done throughout the day. I’ve been able to maintain a better physical health thanks to this. I also like the fact that he followed up on the phone with me regularly to make sure the exercises were working as expected. That’s what I call going above and beyond. Outstanding service.

Cameron has been brilliant in helping me with my injury and getting me back to full duties at work!

A month ago I saw Andy for the first time, he was able to locate and work on an injury in my lower back. He was kind In the first appointment Andy was able to find and treat key problem areas, giving me the first sense of relief and improvement in my arm in multiple months. Doing his stretches, exercises and massaging have continued to help and I am well on my way to full recovery. I am feeling very thankful to cam and andy they have been looked after so well!

Four long months to work on wrist recovery, was happy to come in every weekly session and had a great conversations with my physio Cameron. He helped me through my workers comp application and was always available to contact if needed. Glad to see the injury has been resolved but sad to see the sessions end.

I highly recommend Cam! I'm in my third trimester pregnant and went to see him due to a really bad back/sciatic pain that hurt even walking and he completely changed that level of pain in just one session! I have been seeing Cameron for about a year for both an old back injury that had flared up and now more recently, an elbow injury.
