This company gave us bad advice, that made our problem worse. This cost us a huge amount of money. Beware.

Very poor structural design reviewed by 2 other engineering firms who both reduced the m2 construction cost by over $600m2. ACOR do not think about whats best for a job just cut past and dont really engineer to the application.

I phone Acor based on the positive reviews but the experience with them was the complete opposite. Quoted $7500, paid in total of $27k. Terms and conditions state that they will ensure clients sign off quote before proceeding with additional works outside scope. After numerous bill shock, I asked for future costings many times but this was never given. They kept telling us they had confidence and majority of the work had been completed. We went to a section 34AA only to go to a discontinuation and fine from council of $25k because of late engineering submission that was critical to the case but 2 weeks afterwards we lost due to severe engineering concerns. We could have deferred section 34aa, if Bruce Kenny had advised our lawyer. Bruce Kenny is now trying to take us to court for another $30k of fees which were undisclosed and due to him repricing the engagement we have already paid for. Stay away and don't waste your money!

DO NOT engage with this company. They will happily quote you then do part of the job, obtain payment and ignore your calls and messages time and time again. We dealt with Bruce Kenny and his team and found him shockingly unprofessional. The excuse is they are busy! All in all we spent a year waiting on them to do the work they were paid to do.
