Hays is amazing at his craft. He takes his time and helps you understand correct technique. Zein is also a fantastic bjj coach & makes the learning process fun. The gym itself is well equipped and always clean and tidy. Highly recommend.

Great place to learn boxing and grappling fundamentals for beginners. I felt comfortable with Hays and Zein the minute I walked in. Progression has been great.

What started off as a bit of weekly fun with a group of close mates in private classes has transformed into an immense passion for the sport that leaves me excited to attend classes throughout the week. Coach Hays and the team's high level of expertise is demonstrated by their extensive knowledge in MMA and their ability to effectively teach it in a class setting is simply second to none and for this reason, myself, along with my fellow ACE colleagues, show week-on-week progression consistently. This has been particularly showcased with my improved performance in sparring, which is all performed in a strictly controlled environment to ensure upmost safety. Each class at ACE is respectfully physically challenging, which has significantly improved my fitness levels, but is also kept engaging and enjoyable. Finally, the benefits of doing MMA are much more than those seen physically, whereby I feel I have had a much needed growth in character in terms of both confidence and discipline of which has also translated to improvements in other aspects of my life, including professional. Simply said, picking up the sport of MMA is a no-brainer for absolutely anyone and there is no better place to learn, practice and perfect it than at ACE martial arts.

I originally contacted Ace Martial Arts for educational purposes with their Boxing skills course at their sister company Australian Combat and Exercise. Since meeting Hays and his highly skilled team of coaches, I'm now participating in boxing and Kick boxing classes. And Loving every moment! The welcoming culture of this space is something I've not seen for a long time and it is great to be a part of. Students of all levels help each other out. There are no egos when it comes to helping each other out, and working together with great encouragement to achieve what you set out to achieve. The euphoria after a class will set you up for a positive week.
I cannot recommend this place enough for advancing or even starting your Boxing/kick boxing/Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, MMA, self-defence or educational path.

I came here without expectations, without knowing much about anything little did I know that I would find an amazing coach and family, a safe space and a challenging space, that pushes me to be a better version of myself and to learn a new skill I didn’t think I could!

This is not only a Gym, it feels like a second family. The Team, The Students and the vibe is something I haven’t ever seen before. I’m so happy I have found a place I feel so comfortable with and cannot wait to continue my Martial Arts Journey.

Excellent all round. Coaches are masters of their crafts, incredibly patient (especially if you're new!) and there to push you to reach your potential. Gym atmosphere is fantastic and all levels are catered for in every class. Can't recommend enough, loving my time here

Wondering facilitates with big open mats, boxing ring and weight training section. Head coach Hays is the best!

Started here in 2018 and have enjoyed every second. Not only have I been able to learn new kickboxing skills from the incredible instructor Hays but have also made many friends that I now consider my second family. Could not recommend more.

Highly recommend ACE Martial Arts. I started at ACE looking to learn boxing and work on my fitness, however, I received so much more in return. I’m now working through their Freestyle system which incorporates Boxing/Kickboxing, Jiu Jitsu/BJJ and Kung Fu and absolutely loving it. Great gym, great coaches, great community.

Been training here for the last two years. The commitment and teaching from the coaches here is absolutely stellar. I have trained at other gyms in the local area and this gym is bar far the best - no doubt about it.
