After having been treated for over six weeks by various other practitioners, I was led to Shawn by recommendation. Shawn did not disappoint from the very first session. With little to no improvement over 6 weeks elsewhere, I was at my wits end and willing to try anything.

Since 2019 I was suffering from fatigue, constant tiredness, extremely low energy, poor concentration, brain fog, increased appetite for high sugar and fatty foods, heavy painful period pain and excessive gas (as embarrassing as that may be, I rather be able to give a very honest review for Dr Sean.

In Jan 2022 after "recovering" from Covid my symptoms became worse over time. I had no energy to get through the day without wanting to sleep and was unable to get through the day at work. I was in a constant struggle.

My immune system was also shot down as I was sick a further 5 times in 2022 despite taking a massive amount of vitamins for months, I was very feeling low and very sick.

After seeing Dr Sean, he asked me a multitude of questions, performed acupuncture and prescribed me with a custom formula of oriental medicine.

I kid you not, after 5 or 6 days of drinking the medicines that Dr Sean prescribed, I started to feel completely energised, my brain fog was wiped out and I am now able to work hours on end and I am pumped all throughout the day.

My gas stopped pretty much a few days into the medicine and started having very regular bowel movements.

My period flow is now lighter and for the first time in all my life had no period pain, no swelling, no headache and no soreness.

My concentration has increased to a phenomenally high level, I have so much energy now I am waking up in the morning extremely happy and refreshed and motivated.

I cannot believe how lucky I was to have been recommended to see Dr Sean, he is extremely intelligent and very careful with what and how he prescribed my medicine which is why I have basically immediately started to feel better after being plagued with horrible fatigue and brain fog for almost 4 years and doubly as bad the last 12 months due to having Covid.

I cannot recommend Dr Sean enough, he is gentle, kind and caring and most of all a very smart and knowledgeable Doctor.

Dr. Shawn has been exceptionally patient, understanding and thorough with both of my parent's ailments in which they suffered both great distress and chronic pain (spinal disc injury + chronic pain and arthritis). Their experiences have been nothing but successful, and Dr. Shawn's openness to communication and methods have been a wonder to their recovery. Before this, we had tried multiple types of treatment and medications, as well as surgeries over multiple years and even a decade for my mother. We were even worried for my father to a point in which we wondered if he would be forced to retire, and possibly invest in a wheelchair. However, he was able to return back to work, walk without support and take control of his life, as well as my mother's pain incredibly easing up despite multiple GP's and medications before not doing anything. This allowed her to return back to interests in her life she could not even bear to do before due to pain. I had very severe recurrent Eczema for my entire life, which was detrimental to my well-being.

I was referred to a number of different dermatologists and allergy clinics, only to be prescribed different steroid creams and tablets. Even with numerous courses of conventional medical treatment, at one stage it flared up so severely that I was hospitalised for several days. Unfortunately the conventional medications only relieved the symptoms for short period of time, and more aggressive flare ups followed.

I visited Dr Shawn by recommendation, he listened very patiently, asked lots of questions and checked my pulse and tongue to identify the root cause of the problem. He explained the pathomechanism of eczema in Oriental medicine in a way that was very easy to follow and presented the most effective methods of treatment he could offer (including dietary advice).
The itchiness was completely gone in about three months into the treatment with herbal medicine and acupuncture, and the damaged skin started to rejuvenate gradually. I no longer need to use steroid cream even during dry/ cold seasons.

Absolutely the best doctor in Sydney. He is very knowledgeable in both acupuncture and herbal medicine. I went to him several times due to my chronic fatigue and back pain and everytime I received the best care and advice I could not get from any other doctor. I have had recurrent pain in my knee joint for years despite taking anti-inflammatory prescription medications and receiving numerous physio treatments.
I even had to see a rheumatologist to have fluid drained a year ago.
Regardless of all of this, the joint pain flared up again recently, and has been intensifying. I decided to try acupuncture, and found Shawn.
I previously thought acupuncture was simply sticking needles into skin, but Shawn used acupuncture needles together with Moxibustion (not sure of the spelling) and remedial massage.
I felt so much better following the first treatment and became completely pain free after three sessions, and became able to go back to my regular cycling.

I had really bad shoulder pain and limited range of motion for a few months following an injury.
I've had a number of sessions of physio and acupuncture treatments but none of them really helped.

I highly recommend Shawn from Ace. I had a spinal fracture and was in incredible pain and very weak overall. Since our sessions the pain has significantly reduced and I was able to continue my physio sessions and improve my mobility such as walking longer distances, carrying groceries and opening doors.
