As soon as the project manager from ABRIL was appointed, our insurance repairs began. Peter kept us informed the whole time and for any minor problem he went out of his way to ensure it was rectified to a professional standard.

There were many delays in getting insurance to do the work prior, having to wait 5 months, but once Melad was assigned, things happened quickly within 2 weeks.

Melad did a wonderful job on our hardwood floor replacement after flood damage. He was a pleasure to work with, he heard our needs, took great care and pride in his workmanship and clearly communicated the process/timelines throughout his time with us. We would highly recommend his services.

Professional is not one of the words one could use the describe their work. Even after coming back to repair their own work, a similar issue happened only for them to deflect the blame on us for something that was clearly negligence within their work.

Abril Building Solutions were great to deal with when we had to repair our bathroom facilities after severe rain damage ripped our ceiling apart and damaged the vanities. Our project Manager Melad was brilliant guiding us through every step of the way. He kept all his promises and the completed work was great. He also made sure the site was clean each day and worked around our church schedule so that we could use the facilities during construction. I'd recommend Melad and his team to anyone.

I have had dealings with Abril Building Solutions in my capacity as an insurance broker / claims manager for approximately 10 years.
During that time Abril have been appointed to carry out repair works in relation to insurance claims for our clients on many occasions.
I have never received any complaints with respect to the quality of their workmanship nor have I received any adverse reports with respect to the attitude of their employees or contractors.

Absolute scum. Perhaps the poorest and most dishonest communication of any tradies we've ever encountered. Took almost a year to complete rectification works, never answered calls or emails. Lied directly to your face as they then go and do a job that is totally sub-par. These people should lose their license, namely one 'gentleman' Scott who works there. Incredibly unprofessional.

SIMPLY BRILLIANT! Dave and his team have turned our home from a war zone (thanks to storms in Caringbah with trees in roof) to back to normal.

On behalf of the strata committee at 85-87 Avalon Parade, I write to commend the work done here by Abril Builders and especially Albert Salama the project manager. This was a long and complex repair to severe storm damage which affected five units. At all times Albert kept us informed of progress and fully liaised with the strata committee when there were questions raised. He was always helpful and ready to listen, responding promptly to telephone calls or e-mail. His work team were very professional, quiet and considerate and left the building neat and tidy at the end of the working day, which was much appreciated by all owners. We have no hesitation or reservations about recommending him and Abril Builders for any work in the future.

Poor quality workmanship. House was left trashed with gyprock & glue everywhere. Furniture was left outside. No electrician was called in for the electrical work (all was performed illegally without a license). When we complained to the insurance company the head builder (Sam -the one who performed illegal electrical work) called my phone and gave me a agressive ear full of abuse.

Update 07/12/16: Since posting this review Abril Building solutions have engaged a legal firm threatening to sue myself for deformation. I should also note that the Insurer no longer engages the services of Abril Building Solutions due to complaints similar to my own.

Abril have been appointed as repairers for many insurance claims handled by our office. The size of the claims have varied from $5,000 to $500,000.

Their work has been of the highest quality and standard and their tradesmen have always been respectful and accommodating to our clients/property owners.

We have no hesitation in recommending Abril Building Solutions as builders to anyone who seeks their services.
