These guys are good. I have used them to service my pool for years. But where they’re particularly good is their responsiveness. Whenever I have equipment breakdown, or more recently a disastrous pool leak, they always make time to come and investigate, and fix, rather expediently.

A screwed pool is a stressful time but it’s fantastic to have John understand that.

Overpriced, poor customer service, arrogant and moody owner/employees. Other locals say so as well. Avoid, shop around and look online! Rate 1/2 star for existing.

Oct2015 Went in for a quote for a Jet vac JV105 kit. Was quoted $900. I replied that I got a quote from a pool shop dealer in Dural for $750. Cocky response was "good luck".

This is the 2nd time. A booster pump was quoted $750. Purchased exactly same pump from a pool shop in Narrabeen for $500 several years ago.

Honest & helpful staff that don't try to sell you chemicals that you don't need. We've found ABC Pool Services to be very helpful in providing advice on both essential maintenance as well as more major pool upgrade items. Highly recommended.

These guys are exceptional. I had a pool leak after a renovation which was my worst nightmare. Jon from ABC quickly diagnosed the problem and offered solutions. We have used ABC for years but their help in our crisis was fantastic. Thank you ABC!

Extremely helpful and honest staff. They only sell you what you really need (unlike most other pool shops that sell you everything they possibly can whether you need it or not.) I travel past 8 other pool shops to use these guys. Highly recommended.

ABC POOLS has been servicing our pool at Northbridge for 9 years now. I have found the company efficient and pleasant to deal with. John, the proprietor, tells me that he has been in the pool business for over 40 years and as a result is extremely knowledgeable about pools, filters, chemical balance etc.

The pool maintenance business appears to be pretty cutthroat with low margins on equipment and chemicals. Having been in small business myself I know how annoying it must be for someone to come into a shop and tell you they can get equipment and supplies cheaper elsewhere. For me it comes down to total service - if a company gives me consistent service over a number of years then I feel the least I can do is to obtain supplies and equipment from it as well even if I could shave a few dollars by going elsewhere.

The barriers to entry in the pool business would be pretty small I imagine and from stories I have heard from neighbours there are some shonky operators out there who really don’t have a clue. So it is of great comfort to know the company I use “knows pools”.

For over the last 3 years, ABC Pools have been great. 10 days ago I rang to book in and was given tomorrow as the first opportunity which I took because I believed in their work. At 2.48pm today I was rung and told “sorry find someone else as due to the storm damage we can’t fit your job in”. I understand the storm damage, My pool was also affected. I rang back and said when could they fit me in and told sorry find some one else. So much for believing that being a client is helpful. They couldn’t even recommend anyone. Bad bad PR!

These guys are awesome. Always responsive if something goes wrong and make our pool sparkle. Thanks ABC!
