3Really happy with Grant and Steve! They committed to the big interstate move and conducted it professionally and at an affordable price. These guys are salt of tge earth types, highly recommended!
DO NOT USE! Inexperienced, abusive, alcoholic, scam artists! Terrible experience. Moving is a stressful time anyway, but these people made it much worse. They arrived 3hrs late, and did not bother to tell us they would be late, this was only mentioned when we called them after becoming concerned. When they did arrive, they brought a truck too small to move even 2/3 of our furniture, even though we had stipulated through the movefinders website all of our furniture! We even 'over compensated' by saying we would have 50 boxes (ended up having less). But this was not even the worst of it! Instead of apologising for their mistake they refused to finish the job by going back to collect more due to the small truck size and insisted to charge by the hour. The three men that came to move our furniture were all in their 50s-60s and one kept saying he was really sick and had a limp. They did not come across as professional removalists at all, and were incredibly slow. They spent ages just talking to each other about how they should pack things. When we got to my new house with only 2/3 of my belongings, they reeked of alcohol, and became abusive when i asked for furniture to be placed upstairs in the house! They wanted to dump everything in the garage. They called me names which I will not repeat here, threatened to kick in my furniture if I didn't give them $800. I ended up paying the money out of intimidation, they were shouting insults and the f word while dumping my stuff in the garage. They also damaged some of my furniture and several of my boxes containing glassware was broken. We are now left hiring a truck to get the rest of the furniture ourselves on a day that we should be steam cleaning the carpets. I can't express how disappointed I am about the way we were treated. These people should NOT be running a business.
