A1 Mechanical & Smash Repairs

I have been using this place for some years now. It used to be in Marrickville which was also very close to where I live so it was extremely convenient. Despite the move, I still use them as they are very old school in terms of their values and reliability, and it's worth traveling the extra few kilometer's to know I am going to get excellent service and not get ripped off. The main mechanic Tony, is excellent. It's also very refreshing that this business is run by a lovely woman called Snow, who is both charming and personable and always up for a chat. Highly recommended!

Everyone at A1 is really friendly, genuine and helpful.

I took my car in for a repair after an accident and she made me feel really comfortable asking questions and leaving my car with her. I think the costs were quite reasonable and I’ve left happy with the service provided every time.

This mechanic shop is a great place for car maintenance. They can repair every issues whatever how tricky they are. Their have a great service attitude as well. Highly recommended there.

Everyone will tell you they have the best mechanic. But after my mates/family rant about there guy who gave them “a deal” I always feel slightly smug that I go to A1.

Snow is a fantastic operator of this shop, Tony and his boys will get you fixed up and not paying out the wazoo.

Honesty is beccoming harder and harder to come by these days. A1 will tell you how it is and not Jack up the prices. Honest pricing for a job well done. That’s golden. You can’t beat that in this world.

Some places have dudes that can only follow basic training to get repairs done. I honestly believe I could bring a wreck into A1 and they could fix it.

Top service. Top humans. And the animals that live there (dogs and cats + others) are just a joy to hang around and observe while they get your car fixed and get it fixed right. 10/10

SUCH HONEST AND GREAT SERVICE! I nearly got scammed by my previous repairer with an 'oil leak' but thankfully Snow explained the problem to me (not an oil leak in the end). If not for her, I would have paid around $3000 for just tightening some screws

These guys are super lovely and down to earth; such a pleasure to deal with. I recently had to have my driver's side mirror replaced; other places quoted $350-$400 but Snow (the owner) was able to source a secondhand part for me within a day and the total cost (including installation) was $220. Snow also has a very friendly and sweet dog who loves a good pat which is a nice bonus! Will be back!

Very professional Mechanic. Fast service, i have problems with my car, oil signal pop out. Come here to ask help checking oil and they help fixed done in 30 minutes. So helpful, thanks Snow and mechanic Teams!
