A/Prof Reeves is awesome. Really the best doctor I have even been to. Agree with all previous reviews. We are so lucky to have him on the Coast.

Prof Glenn Reeves, is in my opinion one of the most concerned and professional individuals I have ever had to deal with. I highly recommend him on every level.

First and foremost as my profile shows I very rarely give bad reviews. However, the Practice manager who refused to give her name was so extremely rude I feel this is necessary. Our daughter was initially on the public hospital wait list, but was advised by hospital staff bc of excessive 18mth wait and substanial increase in symptoms since initial referral ie swelling over entire body to go see our gp again to get an updated referral due to serious esculation or symptoms requiring an epi pen. A suggestion kindly given by the hospital was to obtain a private referral to see professor Reeves privately if we were financially able to. Was honest with practice manager re issue above and due to esculation of symptoms was more than happy to pay private due to significant esculation of symptoms as most parents can appreciate your children's health is always top priority. Our enquiry was simply to see if the wait time was longer then 18mths for private patient referral, otherwise we would take the alternate suggestion given by hospital staff which was to see another immunologist. The completely baffling and unprofessional behavior is what brought me to comment here. For the record I have no doubt this immunologist is an exceptional physician given his wait times. This review is purely on the behaviour of the office manager. Her aggressive response "we are not a backdoor for public health system if everyone did that i would have to increase my fees" before going on a further full rant re "esculation of paperwork it causes her staff, having to send notes to public hospital, people like us rorting the system etc completely baffling behaviour. We made no such requests. As I explained with have a combination of both private and public specialists that we have had for years. All exceptional physcians, when our daughter was given her original referral her symptoms were mild compared to now, hence we were happy to go on public wait list to see an exceptional Dr whom Dr Reeves is we were advised. In 40 years i have never encounted someone so rude and thats having extensive experience in both the private and public health sector with exceptional doctors in both spheres. With a family history of lupus we are well aware of the devastating impact of chronic immunological conditions and absolutely would never make any demands for priority service. But your response altered 3 times in two days demonstrates a not only a lack of honesty and integrity but a genuine lack of professionalism. At the end of the day this is an honest review from a patient that has nothing to gain from being dishonest to protect their position or behaviour.

A/Prof. Reeves is an amazing doctor. I have a rare disease and he is so knowledgeable about this and a few other autoimmune diseases i have. He has improved my quality of life and given me a lot of hope. Kind and thoughtful man and very genuine.

He was so thorough and tried so hard to find answers after my hysterectomy put my body into irreversible shock.
