7-Eleven Campbelltown

To avoid any confusion, this review refers to the 7-Eleven convenience store / petrol station on the corner of Queen and Broughton streets.

Reading some of these negative reviews, I'm reminded of some sort of reality TV show about a highly dysfunctional work place. Some of these negative interactions, complete with swearing and name calling, would be highly entertaining. Unfortunately, when I have shopped here, the only thing I hear from the attendant on duty are things like "Hello", "Thankyou", and "Would you like a receipt? " I have never been told to F-off, ordered to leave the premises, or been subjected to a tirade about the intricacies of the business's complicated discount policy about how to qualify for a $2 Mars Bar.

Not being a motorist, I don't have to buy fuel here, the only time I bought petrol was several years ago when I had a lawnmower powered by the stuff. The attendant was probably somewhat bemused by the sight of this man with his little 5L steel can, asking if he could fill it from one of the pumps. Whatever he thought about this odd scene, he kindly suggested which fuel would be most suitable for my purposes, and told me which bowser to use.

Nowadays, I usually only stop here to buy a 2L container of milk. On my most recent visit to purchase this product, the shop was filled with various people buying various things. None of them appeared to be stressed or angered by their shopping experience.

In conclusion, please be courteous to the workers here, and try to think of some of the things they have to endure during their shift, like having to help an old man purchase fuel for his lawn mower

The most misbehaving cash attendant (the aged asian appearance guy, I don’t know his name) I have ever seen in a 7 Eleven. He is rude, doesn’t know the manners, thinks himself as a police man and keep teaching rules and regulations. Will try to avoid refuelling here at any cost. I have read previous reviews and have seen similar comments from others. Since that guy is still sitting there, I think my review is not gonna change anything. Just posting here so that other ppl can avoid harassment, there are several other 7 Eleven stations available nearby.

Great 7-eleven overall! I’m a local customer and have never had a bad time there, I’ve always been served by friendly staff. Reading all these bad reviews has made me very annoyed as to how these people have all the time in the world to say something so negative about a store in which you only spend around 5 minutes in and are treated fairly in. I’m in this store nearly everyday and have never had any issues whatsoever. The manager is exceptionally welcoming and is always there to put make my morning great! The store has a very clean and friendly environment. Heads up to the team!

I usually never post reviews, but upon my very positive interaction with the owner, and reading the reviews written here, I felt it’d be best to share my experience.

I’ve been coming to this store since I was 12/13, and the owner, Alex, is one of the kindest people I’ve met, and I’m shocked at these reviews. His customer services and overall kindness for me and my siblings is something I can’t repay. He has always been a wonderful man and I’m certain these reviews are from people who treated him poorly, and were shocked when he gave a human response.

I’d just like to thank Alex, and all the staff members at this 7Eleven, I always guide family and friends to this store and they always come back telling me how generous the owner is. Thanks man! Much love

Most of the time we go there for fuel, unfortunatly we hv been harassed by the staff. Today at 4.30 am also happened with me, when l asked for 13 cabs discount (as agreed with 13 cabs). The stuff was refused to gv 13 cab discount and start argueing with me. Which made me really upset. So far l heared that most of the customers/drivers are facing the same types of prob from 7 eleven's staff. I shall never ever go this 7 eleven of 96 Queen St, Campbelltown, NSW 2560. Hope the owner/manager will look after customer service that we recieved from their staff.

Teller gave wrong cigarettes didn’t realise until pack was opened, wouldn’t give a refund even though all cigarettes were there to exchange. People need to check b/c of their incompetence. While we were there trying to get exchange for what we asked for, he gave another guy the wrong pack too. The guy Abdul is a complete dunce.

Went in to get a coffee and it wasn’t good and approched the owner who doesn’t know anything about customer service and refused to look at it or allow to fix the problem and this was the last time in my life I ever step in and thank you Sir

Left my phone credit behind, staff took a pic and sent to my phone to save me an hours extra travel. Much appreciated.

Worst customer service, owner of the place is very rude. No manners, no sense of customer service.

It's open 24-7, and the blokes here are pretty nice. Main source of points against it comes from the fact that shopping here, irrespective of what you're after, can get pretty dear

Old man is very very rude and abusive. I can't imagine that 7 eleven allows their staff to sware and abuse their customers. Worse customer experience i ever had in my life.

There is a very rude staff member working there. When we go to get the free items available via the app, he says we are "freeloading". We are not doing anything wrong. If 7-Eleven is operating at a loss, they would not be giving away the free items. That rude staff member (unfortunately) gets paid anyways, so why should he be complaining?

I've been a loyal, long-term customer for several years and am shocked at these reviews. I pop in several times a week (or a day!) for my coffee and some treats. The owner is personable and kind, very patient and a funny guy. The store is always clean, service is quick and efficient and staff are helpful whenever I need something at all times of the day.

I'm not sure why the reviews here are so negative, maybe this store has been confused for another one in the vicinity - but the owner Alex, is a great man and the quality of his character is reflected in his customer service, and the store. As a loyal customer who's had no (not a single one!) negative experiences in the last 5 years I've been shopping here, take it from me when I say these reviews are so very wrong and this is an incredible business.

The Indian guy has no customer service, I didn't know 7 eleven allowed their staff to swear at their customers never stepping foot in that horrid place

Very rude person with full of attuide, i was just trying to clear my doubt as he had put wrong special sticker directly he said dont waste my time and refunded even he didnt ask whether i want to take that item or not.

Majority of the negative reviews for this place are old workers who got fired for their poor work ethic. Look at their surnames. Don’t believe everything you see on the internet, but other than that great store and product!

The owner of this place (as he claimed to be) is very rude! I was shocked by his attitude and abusive behaviour. I feel good for giving it back to him, but he will never see a dollar from me again.

The Asian old man is very rude, he acts like he's giving away free stuff. Worst attitude and customer service I ever received in Australia.

Unless the guy owns the shop, I am surprised he's still working there even after millions of complaints. Worst thing is only 1 percent of people with bad experience leave a comment here.

Unless they get their attitude straight they won't go very far given they have Woolworths petrol pump right next door.
