The team from 5 Star was very efficient. Sam the supervisor would call me twice a week to give me an update of the progress. Our granny flat was completed in 4 months which was very important for us to get the rent coming in considering current interest rates.

5 Star Granny Flat had done an tremendous job with our granny flat, am extremely happy with out granny flat. Sakis and Sarif we're on top of the job all the time, they made sure everything was completed on time and ran smooth. Nicola and Toni did a great job with answering all my questions and were efficient with all paper works and explaining things to me. I love the fact that I didn't have to do anything whereas they did it all for me. With the prices going up 5 Star kept to their word and did not change the prices, when they ran out of stock they contacted me straight away with an alternative. 2022 was a difficult year due to local floods and covid.

Despite all the challenges, the team at 5 Star still managed to deliver both a granny flat and studio, on budget and above expectation. The job has completely transformed my home, and given us more functional space.

I recently moved into my new grannyflat. A big thank you to all the staff and management for making the building of my grannyflat the most easy and best experience i had. The office staff were just amazing and there was no problem they couldn't resolve for me. Sarkis was just amazing from the beginning of construction. Emjay was just brilliant right through till handover. He was very professional, always on site, he always made sure that i was happy with everything. I cannot fault 5 Star in any way and i would highly recommend them.

Bad development: Building 15-bedroom over-developed Boarding house in Blacktown, on site of a current 3-bedroom house- They also took Blacktown community to Court about it! 5 Star Granny Flats/ also going by 5 Star Builders (Head office, 72 Newton Rd Blacktown), is planning to build a 15-bedroom over-developed boarding house- at 72 Newton Rd, Blacktown- oddly located next door to a Catholic Primary School and multicultural aged WW2 pensioners, plus young families with children. Most neighbours have only 3 bedrooms, whereas 15-bedrooms, with potentially 30+ people living there, is a severe over-development of the site. The current property has 3 bedrooms, so it is poor planning and design and out of character to the local area to build such an over-developed boarding house. Thereby, it was twice refused by Blacktown Council, opposed by the Catholic Diocese and nearly 200 residential petitionary signatory objections. 5 Star Builders, therefore, is building against the greater interest of the residential community. They also took the Blacktown community to Court about it! How bad is that!

Damaged our fence when built a Granny Flat- They also pretended it was like that- when i submitted an official complaint. That is sly and dishonest. Do not recommend this business at all- also operating as 5 Star Builders (Blacktown). They are unprofessional, rude to residents, and nasty to deal with!

I would recommend building with them, Zahi was very approachable, friendly and made an effort to get the ball rolling, Sarkis and Mat were responsive and worked around the obstacles in a timely manner and were well organized, Anna and Nicola were very professional and pleasant to work with. There are few minor things to be completed hopefully after COVID restriction ease. Over all experience is good and I would definitely consider them for future projects.

We built with 5 Star and we were so happy with their service. They were so professional and very transparent through the whole build. From the very beginning we were informed of what the schedule was going to be and we were kept in the loop through the various stages of the build.
