Sarkis & Anthony had huge confidence on getting the job done even with a massive tree situated at the back of the house, they never refused my requested was always happy to undertake the tasks.

Manan was amazing. He always updated me on the next steps of my renovation, and my granny flat build. Even with restricted times due to weather he was able to get the job done.

I am very happy with the build and I really hope to have more projects with these guys, I would be happy to work with Manan and 5 Star Builders again.

Damaged our fence when built a Granny Flat- They also pretended it was like that- when i submitted an official complaint. That is sly and dishonest. Do not recommend this business at all- also operating as 5 Star Granny Flats. They are unprofessional, rude to residents, and nasty to deal with!

Happy with the final product although communication during the build could of been much better. Practically all of the time I had to chase up the project manger for status updates and only in the last week of the build found out there was a different person looking after the job. Even accounting for Covid restrictions the project ran 1 month over schedule.

One of our friends introduced Anthony to us. Five Star builders completed a Granny Flat for us and they did an excellent job. My real estate agent was very impressed with the quality of work. Both Anthony and Sarkis are very professional in their dealings. We never had an argument or disagreement during the whole process. WHen a family friend asked for a recommendation as to someone who can help and build a granny flat for his investment property, there was no one else I could recommend more. Very professional service and happy to call them friends in business.

Bad development company: Building 15-room over-developed Boarding house in Blacktown, on site of a current 3-bedroom house- took Blacktown community to Court about it too!
Critically, 5 Star Builders is planning to build a 15-bedroom Boarding house in Blacktown, next door to a Catholic Primary School and multicultural aged WW2 survivors, plus young families with children. Most neighbours have only 3 bedrooms, whereas 15- bedrooms, with potentially 40+ people living there, is a severe over-development of the site. The current property has 3 bedrooms, so it is poor planning and design and out of character to the local area to build such an over-developed boarding house. Thereby, it was twice refused by Blacktown Council, opposed by the Catholic Primary School and nearly 200 residential petitionary signatory objections. 5 Star Builders is building AGAINST the community and only in their own interest! That is unethical! They even took the community to Court about it- how bad is that!

It has been an absolute pleasure to deal with the team at 5 Star - they are a very helpful, professional, friendly and efficient team. The building time was very quick, and the quality was excellent - my neighbour started to build a granny flat around the same time as us with a so called “reputed” granny flat company, they are still half way through the build on hold and waiting while we’ve had tenants in now for over 3 weeks. I would highly recommend them to anyone without a moment’s hesitation.
