We finished our build in July and are so pleased. Very happy with the whole process, every person we dealt with at 32 degrees were very professional and friendly. Thanks to Denny, Liam and Natan and all the builders, we are very happy with our new addition, highly recommend and would definitely use them again if we ever moved.

Their strengths are in reasonable pricing, communication & completing the project in a timely manner. As with all builds, we had some issues here and there but we found that the team tried their best to address our concerns.

We felt that the initial quote process can be improved as there were additional costs added later which should have been included in the quote. There were also a few variations which ended up costing more than we anticipated.

However we do recommend 32 degrees broadly speaking, and we are happy with the extension they built for us!

32 Degrees built our second story addition. From the first contact to the end we have been impressed with their costumer service and build quality. We’d recommend this company to complete your build. Their packages made the process easier to navigate and less daunting for a first time major home renovation and build.

Our dreamhome journey started with 32 degrees few years before meeting the team personally. I was following them in social media more than a year and after narrowing down our search to best team, we meet Alister.

From the phase of consultation to the completion - 32 Degrees performed their best. It was difficult circumstances due to pandemic. Our work was stopped for few months and we had to stay longer in construction site. However 32degrees have taken care for all the issues arising. All the staffs are amazing, friendly, polite, caring. We are so grateful for coming to any time of night for support when weather was bad. Thank you to whole team including Victoria, Denny, Liam, Michael, Nathan, Brandon, Shawn.

We knew 32 looks bit expensive when comparing, but quality of work, time management, good communication were our priority and we are happy for what they delivered to us. When I first spoke to Steve it was all about booking a time, there was no decussion about our budget or how much we would need to spend as there were no plans in place to get a budget,
The 1st quote given we didn't see the value in it, as it was equal to a full knock down rebuild and no additions
2nd one was your idea within the budget
3rd because we were talking about different rooms and your 2nd quote took out the existing room & you had to add the room back

Its a total mess because you have a person who turns up for consultation then goes on holiday and have someone else to take over who has no idea about our discussion, hasnt been to the the house to understand what we are talking about. Very poor communication

I put it out there to any other builders, what could I get for $575000, a 2 bedroom addition new bathroom and kitchen or a total knock down rebuild, brand new house?

They did a second story addition and first floor remodeling. Contract was reasonable. Everything was done on time on budget. 12 weeks and we got to stay at home. The builders were all terrific. Danny was in control. I never felt awkward and the guys from all sections cleaned up daily. Not only were they professional but they were caring worked hard and had everything done on time as per the contract.

Do not waste your money paying a consultation fee unless your using their package.

During our consultation we gave our budget and submitted our ideas constantly asking if we are within our budget, we were advised yes, we should be fine, but we can always work around if you go above your price. There was no exchange or recommendation of ideas from them so we were confident & excited with our plans.

3 days later we received our quote and was 150k above our budget, no call to discuss the quote.
We constantly called the office but they were always busy no calls returned until an email of disappointment was sent. We finally got a call back and very disappointed our plans were completely scrapped only to go with their ideas to meet the budget we gave.

Our advise you will get a better service with other builders who will go above & beyond to help you with your plans than this mob who will give you 1 quote, take it or leave with no phone call, no email. So our $595.00 has gone down the drain. If anything we would like our money back as you have failed your service from the start.

Do not waste your time or money.
Discussed our budget over the phone, said it was do-able. Paid $495 for consultation was also told budget was do-able. Quote came in 65% higher than the budget discussed.

Honestly it’s like pulling teeth with this company.

You try & talk to them and ask questions over the phone, but all they cared about is booking in a $495 visit by their builder.

They also have a very very pushy salesman’s who wouldn’t or couldn’t answer my questions.
He kept saying the builder will answer all your questions on the day, but first you have to pay $495 fee.

When I asked to speak to someone else, he wouldn’t transfer my call.
When I asked if someone can call me back, he mustn’t have passed on my request as I’m still waiting two weeks later.

Honestly find another company who cares!

32 degrees is perfect for a budget extension with no variations to their advertised packages on their website. If you have your own plans or any slight variation to their packages, 32degrees is not the builder for you. Do not bother paying the $495 for the pricing estimate, it’s a slightly more detailed view of the packages on their website and the “builder” (he seemed more like an account manager or new business manager) who came to see us, whilst very friendly and engaging at the time, and despite spending an hour with us did not take note of any of our scope or project requests and we were just presented with the generic costing which was of zero use to our build. It took about a month and countless back and forth on phone with different people and emails re-explaining what we had told the initial builder multiple times to finally get a quote relevant to our scope but the price transparency was poor (lots of scenarios and you really had to look hard and work out what the actual cost was) then the price was almost double the packages with lots of penalties for the variations and any ongoing variations. I think there is a $1000 admin fee during build to just scope a single variation regardless of the size (could be a tile change, or cabinetry) plus the variation cost!

First impressions were very positive - great marketing material, content and it seemed they had strong operations. In our heads we had decided to go with them without having met them as they ticked all of our boxes. However left very disappointed with our experience after we engaged them for the quote and annoyed we sunk $495 for a painful quote experience.

I would recommend 32degrees adopts a similar approach to cape cod where they will only work with you if you use their plans/design services as opposed to inviting people who have DA and designs completed as 32degrees is just not a feasible solution for this approach. They should have said no to working with us after seeing our preliminary plans instead of continuing the dialogue.

32 Degrees completed a second floor addition project about 1.5 years ago, well managed and excellent work. There was a minor issue with one of the ceiling cornice noticed recently. Upon reporting the issue, it was promptly attended to. There was one other issue with an electrical equipment installed by a contractor (more of an equipment warranty issue) and the customer service team at 32 degrees followed it up and ensured it was rectified to our satisfaction. Appreciate the effectiveness and customer after project service. Great team to work with.

We booked 32 Degrees for a second storey renovation to our semi-detached property. From the first moment we sought a quote to completion the communication, professionalism and quality were outstanding. Our project was managed thoughtfully and honestly throughout. There were significant portions of the process caught up in the lockdown cycle and even with the unprecedented disruptions caused the challenges were very well managed and the final build was delivered on schedule.

I was always kept in the loop with any developments or issues that came up through the process. In particular, the experience of the builders meant we were provided with options and an attention to detail on-site that allowed us to make many improvements to our original concept.

The office staff and people responsible for managing the behind the scenes scheduling were wonderful. The absolute highlight from the entire team involved was the brilliant, open communication and honesty. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the company for construction.

That is what so many people have expressed about our recent renovation with 32 Degrees Building.

We added a new level to our house with 32DB, adding 3 large bedrooms, a bathroom, a living room, a large WIR and large ensuite, and renovated our existing bathroom and WC. Oh, and they threw in a stylish stair/entry foyer.

We have been very impressed with the 32DB team. From the initial contact and discussions when hunting for a builder, through to the final aspects of the build and follow up after service.

Alistair has put together an amazing team for his well thought out system of services.

Victoria and Denny were quite simply professional and efficient at getting the accurate quote and final HIA contract sorted. And during the build they were busy keeping everything moving and addressed all our concerns (big and small).

John and his build team were effective, efficient and accommodating in all aspects of the physical build. They really cared about our requests, input and expectations as home owners. And CRAFTSMANSHIP defines the build quality. We have been very impressed, and the build was all done ON TIME! This is something most people told us NOT to expect, so 32DB exceeded expectations here. Our neighbours were impressed with them and there were no complaints from this aspect.

Will and the after service support team have been instrumental in meeting the final finishing touches after the build. If anyone understands the pains of this part of the process, I can say that we have been very pleased with the level of response.

We highly recommend 32DB if you are looking to do an addition renovation. It went to plan with almost all the i's dotted and t's crossed. We have had zero regrets choosing them.

Edit: I would also like to point out that the contract finalisation and DA all took place at the start of COVID for NSW, AND YHE physical build start and finish all occurred during mid to late 2020. We couldn't even tell that COVID had been having an impact on Supply chain. So the 32DB team did a phenomenal job at their work whilst holding to any restriction requirements.

32 Degrees gave us brilliant service. They added a room to our home and replaced our ageing kitchen. The communication between us and the team was excellent for the start - they had a clear project plan which was implemented on schedule. We had to live around the renovation work - they took amazing care to control dust getting into the rest of the house. The builders were friendly. The whole thing was professional in every way. We had other subcontractors comment on the quality of the building work and the result was amazing. We have an amazing new room and a wonderful contemporary new kitchen. They take pride in their work and it’s quality - I couldn’t recommend them more highly

Cleaning of brickwork

Yet another disgraceful performance today by 32 Degrees at my property.

I came home this evening to find the ground outside my door flooded from the pressure cleaning of the bricks because 32 Degrees have failed to finish the site works correctly and slope the ground away from the slab. Rather, a pond of water has been made of the area. Does not meet the Building Code of Australia (BCA) Standard

Upon entering my living room the floor is covered in water, which also sprayed over furniture and cardboard boxes. This occurred because 32 degrees has failed to complete the architraves around the door. This does not meet the BCA Standard

Outside, I had put the rolled up carpet on timbers to stop it getting wet, but the timbers were removed and the carpet left laying on the ground where they proceeded to pressure wash the bricks and saturate the carpet.

The outdoor furniture was not covered over and is now covered in dirt from the cleaning of the bricks, which sprayed all over the furniture.

Not even the most basic precautions are taken to protect the client's possessions.

Very Very unhappy with the work on my renovation. There are 28 other issues so far with my build. I will post regularly, so others don't get caught out. You won’t believe the workmanship

32 Degrees recently completed a first floor extension on our property in Drummoyne. We were so impressed with the speed and quality of work and couldn't be happier with the end result. The process was smooth right from our first consultation and communication has been wonderful every step of the way. The tradesmen on site were lovely and respectful and were easy to talk to if we had any questions or concerns. We would recommend to others and have already recommended their services friends in the area. Thanks again guys!

32 Degrees Building completed an extension and renovation of our home in February 2018.

Before we engaged with 32 Degrees, finding a builder had been an absolute nightmare for us. Not being happy with our local options, we decided to look outside our immediate area and after some online research found 32 Degrees Building. 32 Degrees' initial price guidance range was within our expectations so we proceeded to get a full quote and were very impressed to receive it just two days after our appointment with Alistair! The quote itself was detailed, clear to understand and reasonable when compared to other quotes received.

After initially expecting to start in January 2018,32 Degrees rescheduled their work to get us started at the end of October 2017 and we were at lock up before Christmas. This was a pleasant surprise since many builders were talking of a 6-12 month wait to start the job. They completed their part of the job in February, which was in line with our expectations and also faster than indicated by most other builders we had spoken with.

During the build, Denny our project manager and Cameron our supervisor were excellent to deal with and always available to answer questions. They were flexible and also gave valuable suggestions to parts of the job that required decisions or where we wanted to change something. Additionally, all of 32 Degrees' tradesmen were very friendly and our neighbours even commented on this to us.

We had fantastic client support through the whole process. We were always able to reach someone at 32 Degrees when the need arose. Since we have moved in 32 Degrees has also been very responsive to any issues that arise. We appreciate that they do not forget about you once they have been paid.

Overall, we were most impressed by their professionalism, speed and quality. The complete transformation of the house blew us away and has changed the way we live, all for the better. Everyone that has seen the house has also been really impressed by the quality of the work and how it turned out.

We would definitely work with 32 Degrees again on future building projects and have not hesitated to recommend them to family and friends.

We are broadly happy with the 32 Degrees team. Their communication is polite, efficient and frequent while their tradesmen are highly capable and unfailingly helpful. We are now at Lock Up on time and are looking forward to practical completion by mid October.

32 degrees completed an extension of our home late 2018. Right from the start we felt the process ran smoothly and were constantly kept updated of what was happening. They were extremely organised, which ensured that job was completed on schedule. We had a fair bit of rain during the build process, however, the boys were fantastic at keeping the mess to a minimum and protecting the house.
