Not fussed on 2nds would Harvey Norman as I've noticed you can get brand new products at the same price if you look around

The wonderful gentleman staff at the Penrith 2nd world gave me a fantastic shopping experience…engaged, knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, I couldn’t ask for more. I got exactly what I wanted at a great price Thankyou for your excellent service, and product, I would be delighted to shop here again

We thought this store had disappeared, but HN bought 2nds World and it is as good as ever. Moved to the HN complex.

Be careful what u buy, I got an external hard drive that said it was better than half price, they are selling the same one in regular stores $31 cheaper and even better prices from Amazon, absolute waste of time

Used to enjoy being able to shop at 2nds World, especially using their website to see if they have the product I wanted and at what price they were selling it at.

Now it is owned by Gerry Harvey there is no website to speak of other than a redirect to Harvey Norman and there is no way of finding out anything about what is in stock except for driving to the store (a 2 1/2 hour drive from the other side of the Blue Mountains) and looking in store.

A shame really as I am not going to spend the time, effort and money (especially at over $1.60 per litre of petrol) to find out that they don't have what I want or that it is the same price as Harvey Norman!

Not only has 2nds world lost my business, but as the word spreads around this part of the world no doubt more business will be lost as it was more economical for us to drive to the Penrith store using one of our trucks as delivery for the entire town than it was to go to Harvey Norman at Bathurst or Lithgow and do the same thing!

While the store looks over stuffed and clumsy, the staff is amazing there. Very helpful and knowledgeable.

We were looking for a fridge and met John B.there and he was neck deep with information about various brands and after sales service.

It was a good experience overall.

That was our first visit just for a look around. A little low on stock due to a sale last weekend. We'll be back.

Some great deals, but so your research first some of the 2nds were over priced. Some were great deals.

Limited range and found the pricing was similar to other retailers - left and bought elsewhere

Although their delivery company caused us some stress, the store manager has been amazingly supportive and helpful. I was initially very dissapointed however their manager has actually changed my mind now. I will return again as I always prefer to shop at a place that stands behind their product and service.

Kinda gone downhill since they opened, staff not sure of policies or products, not overly friendly and stock not very up to date or as cheap as it could be. I stopped shopping here

Bought a dishwasher online on The Sunday. The website indicated I could collect it from the Penrith store. After purchase, I received an email stating I'd get a call when it would be ready for collection. By the end of that day, still no call. Called the store, was advised to call the online team. Spoke with the online team and was advised the product I purchased was at a different store and needed to be transferred. I was told it would take 4 days to transfer from an inner-city location to Penrith. On Thursday when I followed up, I was advised my order had still not been dispatched. I was advised it would be dispatched later that day and if it wasn't going to make it then, I would be given a courtesy call to advise of the delay. No courtesy call was put through. I called back to be advised it would instead be dispatched on the next day. The next day I called to see if it had been transferred yet. I was informed it would be sent on the following Tuesday, 9 days after I had placed the order for an item I was given the impression was available at my local Penrith store. Absolutly atrocious service and I cancelled my order because of the run around involved in what should have been a simple purchase. If I had been clearly informed before purchasing that this product that it was not actually at the Penrith store, I wouldn't have bought it. I Will boycott this joke of a business to anyone I speak to.

Staff very helpful and not pushy. Large variety of stock cheaper than bigger retail stores. Parking right outside.

Love this place. Brought most of my appliances from here and the delivery guys are great. Very happy. 5 stars from me.

Good floor staff and info. Good value. Don't listen to the warehouse bloke who says it's ok to leave your washing machine etc on its side if you pick it up yourself. You have to travel with it up correctly to reduce the chance of damaging it! Tool.

I phoned to see if a specific washing machine was available at the advertised price (which it was) so I asked it to be put aside. When I turned up the salesperson was friendly and provided the details for me to pay. I was helped getting it in my car and I was very pleased with the 'customer experience'.

An excellent way to shop.

The lady who worked at this store was abboxious and spoke down to myself and my father when we clearly had more knowledge about the products then her anyway. Every time we tried to speak she would speak over us, which I consider very rude. Her poor customer service skills drove us to the decision to go elsewhere.
