Bad communication, bad attitude with client. The drive name Jim so cocky…. No way to use this business

I booked the skip bin service for tomorrow and I got a phone call this morning regarding delivery time and dropping point. The delivery guy called JIM he’s very rude and non responsive; our conversation started with him saying “I’m very busy today as I need to catch up with the public holiday work, so I can’t deliver tomorrow morning”. He offered to deliver today which is fine to me, but the conversation went south when he asked whether we will have asbestos waste after renovation. I didn’t know what materials may contain asbestos in it, so I asked if he can explain a bit more, and he started saying “OMG you are doing renovation and you don’t know what asbestos is; I think you need to find another company cause it’s just so bizarre” (I reckon he tried to ease up his workload that’s why). I found it really rude and abrupt, yet as my renovation starts tomorrow and I need the bin, I didn’t say anything. Although I rang my renovation team and confirm whether there’ll be any asbestos waste after renovation, this JIM still didn’t trust me and insisted to contact him in person. In the end me and my hubby decided to choose another company because of this guy.
In summary, the conversation was not pleasant and his customer service was indeed terrible!

Could not fault Jim and his team for their amazing service! They were super responsive, quick with delivery, and the process was straight forward; stress free.

We have just booked our second trailer skip through 1300 Skip Bins, and once again I could not be happier with their dealings. I will be recommending them to everyone I know.

Nothing is a problem for this company. I had ordered a bin which wouldnt fit where I wanted it. Jim returned that bin to his yard and came back with a different shaped bin which worked beautifully, and didnt charge for the extra transport costs.
They were on time, and kept me informed during the whole process.
I cant recommend them highly enough, great company.

Dealt with both Jim and Michael for a few skip bins to clean out our late Nanna's house. Both were brilliant to deal with, great communication and always did what they said they were going to. Both went above and beyond to be flexible and helpful. After having a bad experience with another skip bin place to start with, dealing with Jim and Michael was a nice change. I have used the 1300 skip bins 1 hour load & go service twice this year and have been super impressed with the service! Our skip was arranged with very little notice and arrived on time.
