Great service. Timely reminders about health insurance expiring. Very good communication. Specs ready when stated. Oh, and they're perfectly capable of turning out decent multifocals that work well. I've been coming for years and have never had a reason to go elsewhere.

1001 optical shop at Macquarie is always my favourite. Stephen my optometrist is very caring, on an instance my daughter urgently required a contact lens for work. Stephen offered a disposable complimentary contact lens, he was such a kind person. Our entire family and extended family are customers because we were treated with a special attention to details to suit our needs. Very professional and his team are approachable and friendly.

Staff was nice but I am very disappointed with the processing time I brought my sunglasses to do the priscription and mention to pickup by 17 March. It's been 3 weeks but still not done. I am very disappointed.

This was my first eye test and glasses purchase since I was little and after years of degrading eyesight I had high hopes of finally getting a prescription on. The eye test itself was fine, but then it was time to buy glasses. I had already picked out my frames and wanted two pairs. I was told those frames would require much more expensive lenses but this wasn't really explained clearly. Still hoping to afford two pairs of glasses I arbitrarily chose another set of frames with smaller lenses. Then I was told I needed all these expensive add-ons and the employee was entirely unable to explain to me what they were why, or even what my choices were, but I just followed her advice and paid. When I left I realised that not only did I end up with one pair rather than two due to the cost, they weren't even the frames I wanted in the first place, and I had no confidence that should I have paid for these confusing add-ons. So I called the next day to cancel the order and go through it again with someone, and was told the order could not be cancelled. Thanks. $350.

Dr Stephen is a great and professional optometrist. We went to see him for my dad’s eye because there was blood in his left eye. Dr Stephen did a very thorough check and identified a more serious issue on his right one. He also referred us to the eye hospital immediately and even followed up with us in the next few days. The best optometrist ever!
