000 Plumbing

Don't recommend for after hours emergencies. Service was prompt and leak was fixed. Our experience suggests 000 Plumbing Services= $$$ Plumbing Services. Arrived at 5pm left at 7pm. Sent 3 plumbers to replace 3 metres of leaking water pipe under vehicular dirt track.
First plumber forgot mini excavator key, charged us for the time (40 minutes) it took a second plumber to deliver the key. Was then charged the duration for two qualified plumbers and their apprentice who arrived in a third vehicle. This was to fix a water leak (after hours) with $39 worth of materials (their costing). Time actual fixing leak 1 hour 20 minutes, allow another hour for travel to and from job (13 km) and organising equipment.
Total time: 2 hours 30 minutes (rounding off).
Total charge: $1175.90 that equates to $7.84 a minute.

Thank you for your reply. You say because of a wait for the mini excavator key, as a measure of good will, you only charged normal business hours rates. This was not mentioned when your bill was questioned. So the bill would still have been $1175.90 during normal business hours!
A mini excavator would be considered a normal tool for most emergency plumbing services. It is not my business how plumber's vehicles or equipment is paid for. For many it is a tax write -off to get more work done, providing customers a time efficient service and leading to a competitive advantage.
Neither the RMS, Safework NSW (Jan 2020) nor NSW OH&S regulations (2017) require a spotter for mini excavators. If 000 plumbing Services wants one, then it should pay for the spotter not the customer. Is that fair trading?

Had great response from this company when we had major issue.
They attended promptly and sorted a resolution within a few days.
Would recommend to anyone.

We’ve always had a great experience when we’ve had to call upon 000, but our most recent experience was first class. We recently purchased a property and noticed that the ensuite toilet was in disrepair. Eddie showed up for the initial appointment and was great at explaining next steps and organising the job, and Casey showed up for removal and installation of the new toilet. The finished product was seamless, clean and there were no broken tiles or gaps left from removing the previous toilet that was grouted in at the base. Both were outstanding and and I can’t recommend this fabulous service enough.

Was quoted 550 from another plumbing service. Triple o fixed it in less than an hour for 1/5th the price. Can't recommend enough if you have plumbing needs in the wagga area.

Aerator on kitchen tap broken, needed replacing, advice on shower head and hose, price on new toilet/cistern - phoned up for someone to fix, came within a few hours, so same day service, very pleasant workman, helpful, polite, courteous. Gave advice, was able to keep within price range suggested. Done and dusted within ½ hr. Receptionist very pleasant to deal with too. Definitely use 000 Plumbing, the best in Wagga.

They turned up on time and installed a instantaneous hot water unit, friendly and cleaned up as well. Will gladly recommend them.
