Sadly it was cloudy, good beach tho. Only the 13$ park fee per car is not my thing. I like free national parks betta

We loved this camp ground. It's a smaller Camp-site which is nice. Very family friendly. Quiet for most of the nights. We loved hope close it was to the beach, and the beach itself was beautiful.
It's 300m from the carpark down a hill it's a work out
Good facilities for a camp site.

A few negatives for our trip personally, while it is set to the side it is right on the public footpath, we arrived on a public holiday and it was like being in a shopping mall with the amount of tourists passing through to see Kangaroos. There are some signs saying Campers only but they are small and not enough to deter. The rest of the nights where quiet thank goodness!

It's advertised with about 5 fire pits around, there are only 3 working ones. We missed out on a few nights as it was big groups and it was difficult to join in. The one near our section was removed which was a shame.

We also had a workmen fixing the BBQ's on site during the day for 2 days which really took away from the peacefulness, and made it particularly difficult to put the Kids down for a nap. But I suspect this is not a regular occurance.

Beautiful place for day visit, you’lle enjoy the white sand beach and the rocks near the shore. Perfect destination in south coast

Love this spot. It has everything you need: shower, bbq spot, bathrooms and is super close to the parking area. You can wake up and see the kangaroos near to you

Great beach, nice view with sea and cave, also many kangaroos to meet (if you go specially on cloudy weather).
Incredible view that I liked the most on Jervis bay.
However this site could be improved by adding some facilities like drinking water supplies.

Mixed feelings about this place. The location itself, I.e. The wildlife, the beach, the bush area are incredible; immaculate and It's how it's managed that in my opinion can be improved:
1- Kangaroos and possums seem to be at constant risk of being poisoned, albeit inadvertently, by day visitors feeding them all sorts of human food and by campers keeping their food and rubbish in bags or containers that are easy to be ripped open by the animals. There should be significantly more warnings to educate people and discourage such behaviour. Rangers should also regularly emphasise this.
2- Big rubbish containers, located near but not "at" the campsite and the lack of any small rubbish bins seem to give some lazier folks the excuse not to do the right thing. The amount of rubbish we collected at and around the campsite on a single day was simply shocking.
3- There isn't much point in building toilet blocks but not installing lights inside them.
4- As well, there isn't much point in opening this magnificent place to public but then forcing campers to carry their whole camp gear from the carpark down to the campsite and then all the way back up (300m) to the carpark.

I would personally prefer to see this camping ground to be closed to all but the traditional owners for good.

Think twice before booking anything with these guys! Me and my friend booked two camping spots in separate bookings but couldn’t go because of bad weather. In the end they gave my friend a refund and refused to give me my refund. It turns out they didn’t know we were friends so we were aware of the unfair refund policy that has been adopted in our case. Just dodgy and unprofessional! Extremely disappointing.

Camp groud is set among beautiful bush full of wildlife and a short stroll to magnificent beaches. Facilities are worn but do the job.

Our favorite beach in Jervis! Sure you have Hyams as well, but in Cave Beach, you're facing the ocean, waves are regular and perfect for kids. Super bonus: wallabies welcome you on your walk from the parking to the beach!

A must visit when in Jervis bay! Loved the short walk to the beach, total surprise! Even the drive to this place was admirable!

This place is pretty good, but beware, the kangaroos will steal your food in broad daylight, and the possums at night will also steal your food, so make sure you hide it.

It gets really really busy here on the weekend so visit during the week to avoid the crowds. Also it has a barbecue area with free gas BBQ.

Good beach. There is small cave. There might be more if you start looking around.
Best beach for camping near beach. Have to pay national reserve entry fee to reach in beach. And have to walk a bit to reach to beach. There is view point as well.

We stayed for only one night which was enough. Lovely beach with lots of wildlife, a bit of a walk from the car park to the campsite. It was nice also having wood available for a fire at night too.

Note: I wouldn’t leave anything valuable in your car as we saw several people scoping out cars. Also if you like naval helicopters flying over around midnight you’ll be just fine!

Absolutely love this place. Have been here a few times, and would have to say it's one of my favourite camping locations and beaches in NSW. It has cold showers, toilets, running water, and free firewood. There are several fire pits scattered across the campground. Lots of wallabies around here during both the day and night.

It was really beautiful the beach is amazing, animals and the views. However the walk to the campsite if you are carrying a lot of belongings is a bit of a neusince. The showers were locked when we were there why? I don’t know. I wouldn’t stay there again but I would definitely visit.

Beautiful camping ground! So much wildlife and the beach is spectacular. 100% would go back here. There’s bathroom and shower facilities, picnic tables, fire pits, and electric bbqs. The only downside is the uphill/downhill walk to the carpark. The difficult part is going back up with all your camping gear.

Was a bit crowded otherwise environment is great. 2 Free gas barbecues. Some other fire pits for wooden barbecue. Good bathroom and showers. 2 min away from cave beach and 10min from another paradisiacal beach. Can observe stars laying on grass, or table or from the beach or in your tent. Very calm during night. People camping there are respectful. Not far from parking, but there is a tiny hill: if you have heavy things, recommend you to bring good bag in order to carry easily.

Great camping spot next to two fantastic beaches. BUT, it was the weekend and a heap of campers were having parties so I didn't get much sleep. I wouldn't recommend this spot on the weekends particularly if you have a family.
