35Stunning beach. Wasn’t busy at all. Beautiful caves to take some photos with. Also an opportunity to take photos of the many kangaroos in the area.
Awesome beach, short 5 minute walk from carpark past a camping ground with very tame kangaroos…to the point that you can pat them, which the kids loved! Big wide open beach with plenty of room to spread out. Facing open ocean (not bay) so plenty of decent sized waves.
Gorgeous beach in Jervis Bay. To get there you’ll have to pay the entry fee for the National park. It is great for surf and the best place to see kangaroos.
Very nice beach, short walk from parking, can spot lot of kangaroos on the way. Shallow water and kids love it.
Not just any beach. Must absolutely visit during LOW TIDE. During low tide, cars appear, you can walk through one way and out through another one. Lovely pictures to take. You can also swim or surf. There are lifeguards. No parking spaces for long vehicles. We went early and took 3 places for our car and trailer.
This is a "locals beach" and as a visitor loved it. The beautiful white sands, only Australia can dish up, clean and serine! If you love singing, try a verse or two in the cave at the far right of the beach.
To the people who cooked food in the cave and left all their trash in: you are a disgrace and a disease for this planet. No worries tho we cleaned after yourselves like your moms probably still do.
That being said, this is one of the best beaches I’ve been to on the east coast of Australia. Very quiet, very soft sand and clear blue water. The caves are very impressive too!
It's a. 4 km walk to the beach from the car park, with about 80m vertical. Easy path, but not reccomended for those needing walking assurance.
Beautiful place, white sands and clear water. The caves are small but really nice. It was quite busy when we visited, carpark and overflow carpark full. I was sad to see rubbish inside the cave, sadly some people don't show any respect for nature and other people. I will definitely come back, hopefully in a not so busy day.
This place is just magical. Such a beautiful view!
The kangaroos are living wild and in peace and next to that, a campground.
I have really good memories of this place.
Love the water here. Huge beach. Can spend the day here easily. Getting down to the beach is a bit steep and full of sand but it's not an issue for normal people, however might be tough for older people
Great beach with a few roo’s hanging about up by the camp ground. Watch out for the black snakes along the path by the swamp. We saw three in just a few meters.
My favourite beach so far! The best part was getting up close and personal with the kangaroos. We were able to pat them and even help to take ticks off their bodies.
A nice beach with a mesmerising cave and has huge space. Love it and the best part is its near from camp ground.
One of the finest beach is bodoree national park. Kangroos can be spotted in the near by bushes. The caves near the beach are spectacular to watch
Very relaxing and chill place with beautiful surrounds, laid back kangaroos and caves. Camping grounds nearby also.
Cave Beach is definitely in my top 5 favourite beaches. There are waves there, but they're on the smaller side which makes them great for bodyboarders and beginner surfers. There is a healthy population of small kangaroos that you usually see around the carpark, on the walk down, and occasionally on the beach itself. The caves down there are fantastic as well and prove as good photo backdrops. Although, there is a chance of encountering blue bottles, but usually it depends on the swell and direction of the wind. I definitely recommend Cave Beach to anyone visiting Jervis Bay.
This place was so cool and remote. We were so lucky when we went, the sand / water was perfect! We took some nice family photos and strolled around the area.
Interesting caves and beautiful water, lots of people learning to surf here so must be a good surf spot too.
