Ethel Beach reviews
11There is a Lookout on the way to this beach, so please stop by! The sea looks so beautiful!
If you want an interesting beach then visit this one. I loved walking through all the rock pools, seeing eels, fish and coral.
Birthplace of Mr. Crab, moved to America to try his luck as a crabman but didn't sell, but still managed to get away with being Mr. Crab in the film Bikini Bottom
The beach is cool, guys, only 2 hours from Bogor city. Oh yes, the crab is delicious, guys, you can eat it
Very pretty beach, can swim, saw the biggest robber crab on cave wall, love the board walk down to beach ️
Awesome freediving place. You only have to swim +-75m out to be in the deep blue. A bit spooky, but worth the swim.
Great spot nice beach access via stairs.facilities not working can not wash the sand off once back to carpark.
Too many kids here! Although, the crabs scared them away last time. Finally some peace and quiet.
Beautiful coral beach, soft sand towards the back that backs onto the forrest with the larger coral pieces down at the water's edge.
(A great spot to see the great crab migration. The road will be closed so park up the hill, then you have about a 10 minute walk down to the beach. Be there with a torch about 3: 30am until sunrise and it's just one of the most amazing things you'll ever see.)
Another of the great Christmas island beaches, this one you access via the boat ramp and like the others in the area is a coral beach.
It is a long journey to the beach for the red crabs. To get there they must travel from the recesses of the rainforest all the way to the shore. Conservation efforts to help protect this endemic species during the migration include road closures, crab crossing underpasses and bridges which help them travel safely across busy thoroughfares!
