Great visitor info.shop. Can purchase your souvenirs here. Also like to point out the free GPS available from the Police Station. Identification is required. This GPS will give authorities your location. They will give assistance within one hour if your car is broken down, lost or injured etc. Great concept and necessity for the island.

The staff here were very friendly and knowledgeable, keen to recommend places to go and explore as well as understand what you want to do. The shop has lots of items for you to take home as mementos and gifts too!

Very informative staff especially Lou, who provided so much local information on places to see and restaurants and cafes etc. Great variety of CI merchandise. Lou advised us to get epirb from Police Station.

Really helpfull friendly staff, internet hotspot, beautiful ocean view, shame about the airborne dust spilling from the mine nextdoor, seemed to be an everday thing when i was there. I hope the children's lungs are ok!

A remote island in the middle of the ocean and full of natural beauty, don't forget to visit a cave on a cliff overlooking the sea, access road only by boat to reach the cave.access to here is only from western Australia.so flights have a lot of transit if from Indonesia. Don't forget for Muslims to pray their five daily prayers in the mosque At-Taqwa Which is not far from the beach here.

You will be some good pamphlets but they are not big on sharing of knowledge through conversation and updates. DIY

Has good stuff of souvenirs; Tee shirts and posters of Christmas Island and Historical Album of Christmas Island, including migration of Red Crabs and Robber Crabs at Beaches of Dolly Beach and the Dale's, and Lily Beach and Water Falls, and Margaret Knoll over seeing the Indian Ocean and Horizon Views

Such friendly, helpful people here (thank you Julie) who have very good local knowledge. There is also a nice range of gifts to purchase, especially for children.

Come and get your information such as where to eat and what to do while you on the island.dont forget to bring some souvenir back with you.

Julie and the team are extremely helpful and generous with local knowledge of the island with suggested itineraries and tips to maximise your time.
We hired golf clubs and paid our green fees for the Golf Course here as well.

Pop in here when you arrive on the island. The staff are so lovely and happy to help and answer any questions. They were also really great before my arrival and were fantastic and booked car hire and accomodation for me.

Also Optus does not have any coverage on the island so this is a good spot to get WiFi.

A good place to start when new to the island, plenty of information available as well as best ways to get around.
