Askim Askim.went to this place after a friend kept on insisting. Hats off to the chef, great taste. He takes his sweet time but once the dish arrives you take the first bite.you are not disappointed at all. Just yum. Matein the owner and chef kudos to him to showcasing authentic Turkish cuisine (more then kebabs and pide). Tried there lamb, eggplant entree, grill platter skewers (lamb + chicken). Cherry on the top was the dessert.

Went there tonight for a special occasion, worst service ever. Asked for a table by the window, Got a table in a dark corner near the kitchen. 1 cook & 2 waiters in a packed restaurant for dinner. Entrees took a long to come out, lukewarm by the time they arrived. The crumbed chicken was horrible, couldn’t cut through it, could have thrown it against the window and it would have cracked. Mains came out after a 1.5hrs, small and overpriced, unimpressive for the size of the meal. Ruined what should have been a lovely night out. Waiter didn’t care when we complained. Never again.

Food was absolutely delicious, mouth wateringly good. Staff were friendly and helpful answering questions about the menu. A lovely spot on the water, and quieter than the foreshore.

Meti is an amazing chef, restauranteur and host. We gladly keep coming back from Sydney for more! Thank you Meti for your awesome hospitality

Went to Zeytin Turkish Cuisine on Friday! Totally impressed me! The best Turkish cuisine that I have ever had in Canberra! And the customer service! So good! Will definitely come again. Thanks Metin!

Amazing food, especially the first in the world Olive Baklava. It was so Yummy.

The most amazing Turkish restaurant in Canberra! Friendly staff and great astmosphere! At the end of our meal the chef offered a surprise dessert which was his own creation, a delicious Olive Baklava. Highly recommend this restaurant!

We had a great meal and absolutely loved the Olive Baklava to finish off. Just brilliant! And the dips? Baba ganoush? Wow! I’ve never had one like that and it was so creative and different. We’ll be back!

I was really hoping to have some nice Turkish dinner but turned out to be the worst Turkish I’ve had! We ordered bread and dips, bread was very little and not so fresh, the dips were average. Then they got something like mini chicken schnitzel which was ok but is that even Turkish? Zucchini balls were too salty. The chicken skewers were dry, lamb was ok. Overall completely disappointing experience and food is overpriced for the food they are serving. Never going back and won’t recommend to anyone.

We had a dinner on Friday. That's the best Turkish food I have ever had! The roasted chicken and hummus dip was very delicious. They were much better than I expected. Besides, the customer service was amazing! Especially Metin, he is awesome

Pricey side but really good quality delicious filling meals. This was a stop over on our road trip from Melbourne and we were not disappointed. The quality of the meals are exceptional. The flavour was mouth watering. The view from the restaurant is really nice too.

A really great place to dine. Food took a while to come out but the staff were really pleasant about it even though the place was full. The chef came out to talk to us and offered us an off the menu dessert due to the wait. Overall great customer service and good food.

What a fantastic location by the marina. Lovely and attentive staff, and beautiful food. The chicken and lamb were perfectly cooked and presented so well. Nice range of drinks available too. Highly recommend.

We had the Standard Banquet for 2.
Everything exceeded our expectations, from the quality and the quantity of the food to the service.
Despite the busy evening, and although we went on an impromptu visit without a reservation, we were always served very attentively, with a smile. The beautiful people serving us took much effort to make sure that everything was okay.
We were even offered some warm and delicious Turkish apple tea at the end of our meal.
The highlight of the night has to be the surprise dessert! It would have been better if I had been allowed to pay more for it.

Will definitely visit again next time I'm back in the capital. Thank you!

The experience was better then the last time we went. We ordered two dishes, one was an entree ‘crumbed parmesan chicken fillets’ and main ‘prawns skewers’. Both dishes were tasty. We will go there again.

Great chef and great staff. Love Turkish food & Zeytin certainly has it all, with their great range of dishes, charismatic owner/chef, their staff, the music & the views. Highly recommended.
